Normally $899. Have been keeping an eye on the price of the Pixel Tablet as I like the idea of a docked tablet that acts as a pseudo hub max when docked but can be undocked and used as a regular android tablet. If you have no interest in the docking/smart home hub features, there are much better deals to be had on regular android tablets - there is maybe even an argument to be made for getting a hub max and a separate android tablet to achieve the same level of flexibility and potentially less overall cost. But for what it is I think this is OK value wise, though it could get cheaper for black friday or similar.

    This. Or if V2 allowed the dock to operate as a speaker on its own and the tablet had a tad more power, it'd be closer to being worth the 899 RRP.
