Still valid though, need to keep people aware of the Apple shithousery

  • should I get Ipad mini or wait till next month?

this is average price. not a great deal

I'm not an Apple fan, but iPad is very worthy to buy. My iPad was bought 6 or 7 years ago I forgot, but it still works fine. It has a much longer life than other tablets or smart phones. However, this is a little bit more expensive than I expected.

Agree. My iPad 6th gen still running fine while my Samsung tab bought just a year back is sluggish asf.

      • My almost 5 year old Samsung tab is sluggish and doesn't get updates anymore. Still love it though, prefer the oled screen over my ipad pro and the aspect is better for media consumption. The iPad can't be beaten for bang for buck, long support and excellent performance. I wouldn't buy this one over the 9th gen though. This tablet seemed to be aimed at the lower end but isn't really a lower end price like the previous generations.

I would just buy a 9th gen. I don't find the 10th gen worth it especially with the limitations like only being able to use Apple Pencil gen 1 (if you want that).

      • I thought the 10 was a decent upgrade for the $200 extra for this price. USB C charging and no home button so slightly bigger display etc.

For the non-discounted price I completely agree with you. I got an insurance replacement ipad 10 (couldn't get a 9 with cellular at the time) and it was more than twice the price of the 9.

      • landscape camera if you FaceTime a lot on it

I'd still rather buy stuff from Amazon even if it was slightly more expensive. Their customer support and warranty is the best. If that ipad breaks down or has a battery draining issue a year down the road…. Amazon will throw your money back at you lol

Really? I didn’t know they were that good

Yes very good as AWS subsidises the consumer retail business

    • How do you get returns after 30 days?

  • For this price you can find a good used iPad Pro 3rd gen (2018). Get all the benefits of the pro model, which are well worth it.

3rd gen iPad Pro was a big leap and significant update. Since then, improvements have not been as significant so it's a good model to get if you can find a good used price.

Bad buy imo. On one end the 9th gen at $200 cheaper is perfectly good. On the other end a new ipad is coming out september 12th. Which might actually have something worth upgrading to
