  • worth it just for the bits alone for my dremel!

These are a tremendous POS just so everyone knows.

    • Really? People here seem to think they're decent for hobbyist, and for $20 too.. can't imagine it to be too big a disappointment.

      • It is. All the accessories are crap, the thing itself is crap. I got one a while ago, for what I imagine was some fairly simple task at home, and it was terrible. I had very low expectations, and it didn't even meet those.

        • what were you trying to do, sand down and fix wrought iron gates? This tool and accessories is for fine plastic/ timber models etc

          • @Logical: Can't remember, it was years ago, all I know is that it was an utter POS and I threw it in the bin.

Ordered one for myself with free C&C. Now please tell me what do I use it for?

Really appreciate this as I just found out that I have $50 rewards dollars expires in a month time which just spend on this plus a scissor set.

  • This video is of a SCA Rockwell branded rotary tool - but it seems to be exactly the same, down to the layout of the accessories in the case.

  • Can't believe I missed it on this. Have been looking for Dremel knock off for ages

  • Looks like TT may have been just scamming for ppls details. I wonder how many others are getting a refund due to them never having stock in the first place? (recvd email today , ordered 1/9/23)
And yet today all the stores (where I checked online, nearby) that have had zero stock up until this sale, suddenly have stock at full price AFTER forcing a refund .
Prior to this sale the website said no stock at lots of stores and a 4 week wait to send one out by mail.
Would like to know how many units (nationally) they had at the time of the special. And how much data they harvested, how much interest gained on other 'special price' cancelled orders over the 3 days.

    • I created a fake account and went into the store to collect.
Pretty awkward when they asked my name and I had to tell them it was DDD FSFSDF

I just told them their website was garbage and they agreed.
I did have to show the credit card I paid with, because I didn't have any proof of ID showing ,y name as DDD FSFSDF

  • Has anyone received their order. Initially, received the tracking number. However, i checked the tracking number today again and learnt that they have cancelled my order last week, without any notification or refund. Please check if you have ordered.

  • Apparently the closest store doesn't have stock, so they want me to pay more for shipping costs to deliver from another store lol.

  • Picked up the order. Sold it on FB for nice profit as I forgot I had the Rockwell series from Supercheap deal a year ago.

  • picked up order, i think if you were slow to buy, it would have been OOS. TT stores are pretty bad when it comes to updating stock levels.
