  • Oh the unlimited money hack!

  • I am with Auspost and comjng up for renewal. If i cancel it on last day and start a new one from next day, will i still get the cashback?

    • Yes why not. Just start a new policy

      • Wondering if cashback would be rejected by Auspost

Yep that's fine, I did the same thing, just started a new policy.

Funnily enough a new policy as cheaper than straight up renewing!

Just did a quote and $700 per year more expensive than current insurer

    • Who are you with? Past couple of years Auspost have been considerably cheaper than others for me.

    • My current comprehensive policy with NRMA is $1037. Get a quote from Australia post for next year, shocks me, that’s $2505. No claims in last 3 years.

  • Mine didn't track, thus I would cancel and redo. Less 1% cb. Bugger

    • Mine wasn't tracked as well, I even did it through their cashreward app, couple weeks later, I contact the cashreward support for the missing track, and they found it and put it back.

Try getting a quote from Woolworths car insurance. If you are wfh or for second car, their Drive Less Pay Less option gives me big savings. Used to be with Progressive at $550/year now $300 with woolworths for Comprehensive for 5,000 kms. Last year I extended for additional 1,000kms and they just charged me additional $17 dollars. Price will be dependent on your postcode and age etc.

    • Thabks was either gonna choose budget direct or youi

      • Just went thru the whole process of a new car (most WFH too) and found NRMA best for me on low km/yr. Auspost wasn't even close (even with CB). Youi & Budget Direct were closer to getting my business.

        • But might be worth enough if you cancel after receiving the cashback and move somewhere else?

        • thanks but I can't seem to select VIC in their menu when trying to get a quote

    • Is Woolworths good when you have a claim???

      • Found them to be fantastic, thorough and caring.

  • Bingle?

  • Looking to switch from AAMI which have been pretty disappointing. Is AusPost any better?

  • Looking for $100 value Everyday promo coupon/point

Question: if i pay monthly does the cashback calculated on x12 value or their annual "best value"?

    • +1

paid the annual sum just to be sure - and got it tracked within 5 mins (13% of the "Premium before government charges"), thanks OP!
Now to cancel existing NAB (Allianz) one with ridiculous renewal price (over 70% with no claims)

  • Just joined few days ago
    Now this
What do I do? Payed annually already.

  • Gio renewal increased about 30% for a Nissan 2009 worth about $13000 to $1595. AAMI quoted $700. Gio are kidding themselves
