  • I haven't confirmed but you might be able to activate this straight on the PAYG plan for $30 credit.

    Does anyone know for sure?

    • No cashback to gain profit.

    • +3

yes you can activate PAYG 365 days on this $30 starter pack.
      source: I'm using it now

      • @CharityCase how much data did you get?

        • +1

Don't go on that plan if you want data. It's pay as you go.

See my link above - Data is 5c / MB.

      • stupid question, noob to amaysim. so just buy it and when i activate, i pick a diff plan?

        • Yeah it makes no sense to me. I downloaded the app yesterday and had a look. On their website they have PAY as you go options too

Any 12 months deal with international inclusions ?

  • Does anyone know why there's no cashback anymore with Amaysim?

    • I checked Cashrewards and Shopback. Shopback has it listed but when I click on the link it doesn't work

      • Currently unavailable

        • Worked for me

          • @koplik8: So you have cashback tracked?

            • @wildstone: There was no cashback. Shopback link was unavailable and said there are no deals. Cash rewards has no deals either

*** I just seen my comment about. Must have typed it on the wrong thread

I buy a few of the Amaysim pre-paid deals for cheap data for my daughter - once the data expires I setup a new Amaysim sim and rinse and repeat. Today I used the live chat to cancel a service with no data and in an attempt to keep me as a customer, they offered me another 12 months/60gb of data for free which I accepted but not before confirming 3 times that it would cost me no $. Pretty awesome deal - just FYI for anyone that sim swaps like I do.

    • that is about $70-80 for FReeeeeeeee!
      awesome deal

      • +4

They actually credited me $120 as that how much the plan is worth full price. At the time I paid $60 through an OZB promotion.

    • You requested to cancel a service which you had for one month just for data, and they gave you 60GB of data with 12 months of validity?!

  • anyone know if tourists can buy these? or are they valid only for locals with residential address? can they use the hotel address?

  • Of all the telcos I been with Amaysim is by far the worst.

Constant drop outs, messages not received and people complaining when they call there is no dial tone so they don't know if they are calling me

    • I've been with them for 8 years. No issues, other than i am in a 5g hole?
I assume you are in badly serviced area, have a cheap android, or a non blue tick phone ?

      • Hope island QLD, Poco x3 pro. Never had as many issues as I have with Amaysim and I change monthly from boost, aldi, coles etc.

  • Can anyone confirm if I can use this deal with an existing amaysim SIM card? Do they send you a voucher like kogan do? Or it’s linked to the one you buy with the code?

  • I'll put $10 on at the end of the 28 days and change it to a yearly renewal.

    What does this mean?

    • In regards to koplik8 comment;
It's just a case of selecting it with the min paying/recharge amount of $10 to PAYG/365 days to get it once the 28 days are up.
So this deal plus $10 = $22 giving you 28 days with 32GB/+ 8Gb data within the 28 days, plus/then 365 days PAYG after (charged data/calls/sms).
I also assume the 8Gb is in the 1st month and not added to the 2nd month/1st recharge. As I understand it.

Unless I'm missing something, this deal is much better than going with a $10 starter kit for $2 more, which gives only 1/Gb.
I'm need to park my current Labara # that ends in just 2 days, I think my plan becomes a PAYG after that, I've removed my bank details/card.

Suited for parking a number long term.
Shame about Aldi dropping the $5 365 days plan.

      • Unless you just wanted the long expiry from the start.

  • Can I use this to port out from Boost for a month then port back into a $300 boost sim

    • -1

it may require to be outside of 30 days as a minimum window

      • Wait what does that mean?
I ended up porting into this as esim, but plan on moving back to boost

  • So, can you buy 6 and stack them without changing the existing optus number?

    • yes mate i did that and it worked like a charm, Stacked all 6

      • How to do that?

  • Just purchase the 6 packs for each months, then add each time with the voucher activation.

    • You misunderstood renewal here.
