  • I know it's not for everyone but guess it's for people who are already keen.

Not targeted - you can use the code "GAME20" in app to get the voucher.

  • When you stack with the 10% / 20x Rewards points Ultimate GCs, it gets you effectively $200 of game credits for $72. Pretty good value to be honest if you are trying to win a major prize.

Better to stack with Costco 20% off timezone gift cards. Even better if you used some other gift cards to buy them at Costco :)

      • I've heard this a couple times in past posts but has anyone confirmed they have seen/bought the discounted Timezone gift cards at Costco in recent times? I wasn't able to find any

        • I wasn’t able to find any too at Costco the other day

        • Got 4 $50 ones from Costco Ringwood VIC on 20th Aug.
And visit again on 27th and did not see any.

          Might not always available.

        • Just ask the checkout staffs. They will check with the sup on duty if they actually have any in stock. Finding an A4 cardboard in store doesnt mean they actually have it and vice versa.

    • Ultimate cards didnt work in app last time I tried

      • +1

Had a similar experience using Ultimate GCs on double credit deals using the Timezone app - didn't work on my Samsung but worked on my partner's Apple device using Apple Pay.

Never had a problem using them in-store thankfully.

      • Ultimate only works via apple pay for app loads.

    • Are these the "For Him" gift cards at Woolworths?

  • spend $10 get $30

    • spend $15 and get $40

      • spend $40 and get $120

        • Nop, double $ needs to cost more than $100.

      • Used to be $15 for $45, it was my to go choice.

  • What timezones in Sydney have good major prizes? E.g. Phones/tablets/gaming consoles?

    • All of them have the latest of those, but they don't keep those prizes in stock in the store.
You can also order many prizes like fridges and other appliances if you have the tickets to do so.

      • hey mate, how do you do that? Is there a catalogue of what items are available?

    • +3

Just go and buy the phone, it'll cost you much less than these scam machines mate…..

there all good, i got a bugatti last time, now need a little more to get a private jet.

Does anyone know any Costco in Melbourne that has timezone gift cards? Couldn't find any at the docklands one.

  • Pretty much $20 off from what I was told, but I could be wrong, and stackable with the double dollar deal and $100 min loads.

The direct example is that you top up $80 and get $200 (double the $100 + $20 off) so it makes sense.

    • says below on the email from Timezone;

Are there any special offers to redeem my voucher with?

Yes! Get a MASSIVE $200 game credit for only $80 with the redemption of this voucher.

      • Exactly what I mean

  • If you don't want to spend $80, the best value is to just pay $10 to get a total of $30. That's a 3x your money compared to the occasional double deal.

    • That's true. But the $10 you spend is only "worth" $10 and you get $20 "free" but the $80 you spend is "worth" $160 and you get $40 "free". Kinda like spending a bit more for "free shipping"?

      • Actually, you top up $100 and get $200 (same as the double dollar deal) and get $20 off using this voucher. So you will pay only $80.

      • It all comes down to how much you are willing to spend.
All the double deal of the past involved a minimum spend of $60. If you only wanted to spend $10 or $20 you couldn't do it.
This is one of the very first time I seem them giving you free extra $20 with a minimum purchase of only $10, making it worth it if you just want to top up a small sum.

        • I am pretty sure this is the second time, and the first time was abt 2 months ago. It was either $10 for $30 or $15 for $45.

    • +1

I asked at the counter for a similar promote last time they said need minimum $30 reload

  • Is the section where it mentions 200 dollars credit for 80 dollars a hold over from the last double credit deal? Ican't see any option to redeem that currently

    • The last time the same deal was offered, I had to do it in store with the barcode from the app

      • I also ended up doing it in store last time, but I believe that was during that double credit promotion where they had spend 100 get 200. I think that is no longer active however

  • I only see $200 for $120 ($100 after $20 off) in the app.

  • i did the 80 for 200 before. is this a new offer again that i can claim again? i just got my gold card, i feel so rich, lol.

    • new offer, same deals

      • sweet, i only load up when deals like this come around.
currently sitting on $300. soon to be $500 after i get this deal.

what are the best games to play to get the most tickets?
actually what is the best ticket to game play ratio, lol.

        • We played different ski ball machines and one definitely gave more for the same score. Guess you gotta try them all.?

          • @Juice08: ok, will do. i will let you know. will be going this weekend to claim the $200 and play like crazy.

        • Is an average of 100 tickets per swipe ($2.50) good enough?

  • reload $30 to get bonus $20. so its not double the dollar but 66.67% of your recharge value

    • Read again mate.

      • Minimum recharge $30 to get the bonus it's exactly the same promote few months before

        • It is a discount voucher, not a bonus credit. Exactly like the same promo you were talking about.

  • For gold card and above, do you get $25 game credit each $250 reload?

    • and 1 free game daily (yellow)?

    • Yes, but "bonus dollars" aren't counted towards the $250 in my experience YMMV

  • Did this a month back. Paid $30 and I swear they put $60 or $70 on there. My kid and I played for an hour on thirty bucks.

  • Downloaded the app and it's crashing all the time. Xiaomi Android.

  • Will this work at Kingpin? Don't want to drive all the way there for disappointment.

    • I don't believe so no

      • Thanks.

        • +1

it does work at kingpin. i tried it yesterday at liverpool.

    • Load up at timezone take your card to kingpin

  • Off topic, but just won a Switch OLED this morning out of a Keymaster machine! Stoked! Especially after doing some research on the odds of winning afterwards 😂

Only took a handful of goes to win the Switch, but then I got greedy and tried to win an xbox afterwards…gave up after about 30 goes all up.

Have definitely loaded over $500 over the years so not quite in front yet.

  • wow really good deal! Thanks for sharing op :)

  • Can you use the GAME20 barcode that shows from a new account to reload an existing card linked to another account?

Or can you keep making new accounts and topping up the same card $30 for $10 each time?

    • All in venue vouchers are not linked to any particular card.

  • Does anyone know if you can stack this with the current Load Up deal? So that you pay $60 get a bonus $30 AND get $20 off ie $90 credit for $40?

  • Can someone tell me pls, if I reload in nsw can i use the same card in qld? Thanks

  • Timezone wouldn't let me redeem this, as i redeemed the $20 QLD voucher last month. Even though i received seperate emails for both deals, they said "its the same deal, for some reason they renamed it to this"

  • Thinking to take a 8yr and 10yr kids first time at Timezone. I am wondering this if ‘$20 Bonus Credit on Reloads of $30’ is a better value or ‘60 Minutes Time Play for $35’? We would like to spend max 1hr.

Btw, 60 Minutes Time Play for $35 includes below things:
All you can play RED card reader games (ticket games)
All you can play YELLOW card reader games (standard games)
    1 x Feature Game
2 x PURPLE card reader games (prize games)
    300 Pre-loaded Powertickets

    Thanks

  • so spend $80, give them your phone and email and get $210 in credit?

Can use at timezone, kingpin and zone bowling.

Does anyone know if you can use credit for drinks and food at bowling? If so very cheap night out.
