What? Frozen fruit and vegetables are as healthy and nutritious as fresh. Sometimes more nutritious, as they haven't deteriorated during transport.

The redcurrants in the ruby fruit blend we bought were unbelievably tart. Very very sour. Enough to make us throw the pack away. And I love raspberries. Maybe it was just an unripe batch, but we've not tried it since. Buy individual fruits and mix and match.

Redcurrants are meant to be tart. The riper they are the more tart.
I'm really shocked that people will throw away the whole pack of something instead of just removing the offending pieces.

What are the strawberries like in this? I bought a bag of strawberries from Aldi and they tasted awful. Same with the mango for that matter.
Frozen strawberries are awful in general.
I actually love them. They have this surprisingly creamy texture.

It's goated because it's mango, strawberries and pineapple - a great range of richly sweet and tart flavours. These mangoes and strawberries in particular have a really nice creamy texture when frozen.
Anyone know why woolies doesn't sell frozen blackberries anymore while coles still does?
