it's red, so it goes faster

  • Nice price, 1600mhz 16gb kits at other places seem to be at least $87.00++

This much ram is overkill unless you're into video editing or graphics design.

    • For $75 does it even matter?

There are many, many more things you can do on a computer that need this much (and much more) ram other than video editing or graphics design.

I was just generalising off the top of my head. The average joe wouldnt need it. If youre into spending more money on hardware you PROBABLY cant utilize go for it, may as post deals on i7 processors and gtx690's aswell.

last time i checked i didnt need a gtx690 to want to alt+tab between bf3, sc2, 20 chrome tabs, and a half finished scratch around in photoshop, mah boi

It is but a pair of dominators sells for about $50. Spend 50% more fore for 100% more memory is a good deal

    • +1

not if you're running the latest firefox that leaks memory. 16gb is just enough.

  • Not much in the way of reviews. Poor reports on Newegg

You're better to stick with tried-and-true brands for RAM, like Corsair and G.skill - I wouldn't trust this stuff in my computer.

      I would trust Team

      • I've been running Team Elite (2x4GB) 1333mhz ram sticks for over a year and it has never done me wrong.

Team are a very reputable brand and I would trust 'this stuff' in my computer.
I've used Team RAM for overclocking Conroe systems - they were stable and still working :)
