With 3-4-3 seating in a 77W and a 3am departure from MEL, you might as well fly on a budget airline instead.

    • No A388 on this route? 😢

      • No, the 777 is on the Singapore Dubai leg. The 2 A380s out of Melbourne are direct Dubai.

    • Which airline doesn't do 3-4-4 on 77W?

Emirates actually quite generous offering offering 81 cm of legroom.
For comparison, Qantas 77W is 79cm where. Budget airlines is around 76cm

There are 16:55 flights around the same price ( Operated by Qantas)

No airline does 3-4-4 and Qantas doesn't fly 777s

        • Both Singapore Airlines and Japan Airlines does 3-3-3 on their B777Ws

        • Ah .. thanks for the correction!

I meant to write 3-4-3 for the seat configuration.

          Also meant to write :

Qantas 77W equivalent is 79cm where.

      Disagree.

Emirates is not comparable to budget airline in terms of service and offerings, this is a full service flight with 30kg luggage

Also from memory this flight was always quite empty lol. In the 2-3 times I flew I had 3 seats to myself 🤣

    • Disagree. Went on the 77W on Emirates last month and it was fantastic, food was great in flight entertainment on point and the legroom was generous, im 6ft 2 and still could cross my legs.
      Would defs do it again

  • Decent price given the current inflation.

  • I can’t seem to find the deals for that price?
Did the price go up again?
