    If you plugged it in and if charges, it "works". If you measured voltage stability, load response, and temperature, and they're all good, then you could say it "works well".

    And the reality is with these semi-branded ones, batch-to-batch you're likely to get different components, and especially older batches when they can swap in inferior components after the first batches are known to be good/not-terrible.

      Honestly can't do that much test, For me it does the job so far.

    Some of us prefer reduced odds of electrocution or non-electrocuted children.

    I don't know why some users get so upset about pointing out products that don't meet Australian standards. It's just information - you're still free to buy the products and maybe even win an award for you purchase, a darwin award.

  Cactus here, I'm sick today so no lengthy write up.

  I've opened and tested these.

  They're decent. You're not wasting any money buying this for what it is. Know that it's good for charging maybe 1-2 phones or low power devices at regular speeds and that's really it.

  They are built okay and have basic safety and protection mechanisms in place. Performance wise on a design level, they're not perfect, but it's a great example of getting what you pay for, and what you get is just decent. Not great but not bad.

  This will become e-waste for 80% of users. In one to two years you will replace this with a higher power charger that costs more and performs better inevitably as everyone does and has in the past few years.

  Charging tech is stagnating, if you ever wanted to buy a charger long term.. If you are remotely conscious of this, go buy a decent charger instead that instead should last you 10 years at least.

    thanks for the review. I have kids with older iphones and ipads. No need for high speed charging, and the kids lose chargers fast enough that I keep a spare cheap multi point charger around. If it can charge a phone and ipad overnight, that is a win.
