Loving the price war going on between these two companies! lol

      • Come on Deepak, counter them on this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/799706

        • I think they cleared their stock ages ago

          • @rosebank: might be 2 things driving the price not just does starbuy have slow moving stock, but also is the manufacturer offering pricing that pulls through to special deals, haven’t seen many arnie deals and most sellers are about the same at $455 so aren’t struggling to move. i’m saving coin for the SNJ033P stainless analog / digital dive, drops from $689to $599 but no 50% + off yet …….

            • @garage sale: That's the Arnie model I want too, but it's gotta go sub-$500 first.

              • @Astronaut Joe: sub $500 i’d buy it … seems it has depth sensor for diving also ? . recently bought the arnie with black rubber strap for $460 , not cheapest but needed for holiday, so next one would need to be a killer deal.

              • @Astronaut Joe: I've been wearing that for a week. It's a nice watch but almost too much SS? Looks kinda boring and monotonous with no contrast. The bracelet is also just a straight bar so I'll prrob change it to one of my other spare coloured Seiko rubber straps. I like the all black better or even my other non 40th Arnies

WD has come to play. SB used to be cheapest 99% of the time

      Should have seen it coming…

    • @ihfree

      • Haha, thanks for the tag. I've been thinking about this one and I think there is too much of a clash with the INOX 37mm in my collection.

That said, another few deals and a price drop and I might crack.

          • @rosebank: Not bad at all - interesting colour combo.

            BTW, How's the SD1970 going?

            • @ihfree: lol I still haven't pulled the trigger. I think I'm gonna get the willard save the ocean glacier for $1.5k and break my no 6Rs for over $800 rule and just be done with it

              • @rosebank: Nice looking watch.

I've had the SD1970 on rotation over the past month. While it's a nice watch, I've realised I don't like the style enough to spend more.

It's the only watch I have which is noticeable weight wise though the other watch in my current rotation is a thin Eco Drive which is possibly the lightest watch in my collection.

                • @ihfree: I bought the Willard because its unique cw. SD1970 is great for what it is but if I bought it it'd just be another green dial watch I'd never wear.

          • @rosebank: wr200 watches in women styles and sizes are actually very hard to get, so there is a market for this watch, especially considering number of female divers.

i have the larger version in blue and also the black with stainless bands, great beach holiday watches, yes do get used diving.

            • @garage sale: I have a lot of watchs that are 36-38mm, I'm seriously getting that watch
