        Transit is a perfect timing for taking a break (dinner on land, airport tho), but the longer hours is night time (sleeping). The arrival time is 1pm day time which is basically morning time in Syd. Dont mind at all

    Qantas runs a A330 to LAX from BNE.

    Last time I did that we landed before immigration were in their seats so had to wait on the plane for 30 mins at the gate.

    Fuel tanks not big enough to allow us to circle lol.

    Crap plane - perfectly sums up Qantas' attitude to markets that are not Sydney.

      For this reason alone, I'm flying with Fiji Airways on their A350.. even though it means paying a bit more.

    Thankyou! I purchased flights for 2 last night which I'll cancel and book again tonight.

    Syd -> Orlando
    Vancouver -> Syd

    Total: $4775 which was the cheapest through a few flight comparitive sites.
    Doing a compare with connecting flights from LA to Orlando and Vancouver -> Los angeles;

    Total: $3114

    Even looking at the same flights that I booked yesterday on this compare site shows:

    $3046…
