Bought this one 2 years ago. Good mower.

    • How long does it mow for?

        2 years.

I think around 25mins. I dont mow in on go though, I stop a couple of minutes. 😅

This one's got 2 year warranty right?

Aren't the battery and the charger standard part of the lawnmower package?

Stupidity if the lawnmower is sold in general without charger and battery, as if it's a known brand and the battery/charger are multi-purpose as with makita for example.

There are other Yard Force products that take this battery and for someone looking for a battery they can spend an extra $100 and get the mower as well.

  • I wonder how this compares with Ryobi? Are their batteries compatible with some other brands?

  • What sort of mower blades does this use?

  • Does anyone know which one is better between this one from Ryobi https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/801573 or the above.

If you're after a Scarifier… then the Ryobi… if you want a mower…. this one. They are different.

Krok Ryobi spammed again 'Thanks for being a loyal My RYOBI member' they are after charging lazy tax.

We got the Bunnings Ozito Steel Deck kit after comparing mowers from all price ranges including this one. Basically, RYOBI products below $700 are crap based on reviews. Plastic decks like this one deteriorated and were susceptible to rocks killing it.

In regards to the Bunnings mower below, the only issue is the blade doesn't come down low for scalping/rejuvination but in general it performs great even at the lowest blade setting height. I have come up with a way of lowering the blade though after some research to make it be in-line with the deck bottom edge.

You can use an 10mm M10 spacer that goes inside the blade holder which stacks on the existing "bush" which is itself a spacer. Then, you replace the M10 blade bolt with a larger one. The factory blade bolt is a high tensile M10 40mm bolt with a 1mm pitch made of grade 8.8 steel. The only place to get larger ones is on Aliexpress (or special order) for an M10 50mm 1mm pitch bolt. Just ensure you are very detailed as the bolts you see everywhere are M10 with a 1.5mm pitch with some also being 1.25mm pitch.

  • I think the deal has expired. Seeing $429 at the moment.

    • I tried it yesterday - the promo price was on the banner and on the promo page but showed higher price when on the product page :-/

      • I managed to get it at $299 by calling their online department.
I was meant to pull the trigger last night but the system asked me to call for the stock check which I did this morning. Called them up and got the price honored.
