    IT'S BACK BABY

Spinach & Ricotta Roll (My pick)

Good choice - I believe it actually has the highest protein too

    • +2

Yeah a good choice if you're not feeling like a gut full of grease

      • -1

I've had a gut full of your comment mate :p

      • -1

        gutful

      and probably the highest fat.
haven't compared extensively but noticed the 3 star rating on the no-sausage vs 1.5 on the normal one.
plant based is usually about 30% less sat fat and sodium, still pretty unhealthy :P

      • Nope. Not according to MyFitnessPal. 21.6g vs 11g.

Vegan 'meat' is usually more processed and unhealthy for you too.

        • -1

Meat by nature isn't healthy to start with though.

Thought I'd check again on cronometer:

          better in every way.

          • @G-rig:

            Spinach & Ricotta Roll

Time to visit Specsavers, perhaps? 😉

            • @itsfree: talking about meat vs no-sausage.
I've had those spinach & ricotta, pretty greasy and soft, the fat would be through the roof!

              • @G-rig: So why are you replying to my comment?

                • -1

@itsfree: dunno as good as any don't take it personally.
you started talking about macros lol.. junk food leave it at that.

                • @itsfree: Just got a spinach and ricotta, need something greasy..

                  $3!

  • +1

Not very nutritious, but $1 for 100 points is a good deal. I'll donate the sausage roll in the office.

    • +19

I'll donate the sausage roll in the office.

      Please don't get arrested

  • -1

Great deal! Also, get some free points at the same time if you were targeted and buy the sandwiches also! Thanks Neil!

  • +1

Oh boy, I'm gonna get there real early

  • +1

    Good call

  • How much bonus points we could get in total?

    • 102

      100 Bonus Points + 2 points for $1 spend.

      • plus 250 for any spend in 711 (targeted - total of 1000 points)….

  • +3

Thanks op….. Sausage roll, sandwich, wrap and a smoothie for $9. Get the same from a cafe and you'll be spending $25-30.

7-Eleven is unironically some of the cheapest and best meals you can get at the moment lol.

  • +2

Fwiw I noticed the 'No sausage roll' has new light green packaging now and was $3 yesterday. Good if that's the standard price. A bit healthier but obviously still junk food .

Spinach and pasties are greasy soggy crap but good if ya desperate.

    • I just paid $4.50 for one in Melbourne.

      • +1

Hmm no idea why cheaper, wasn't in the app
PS good the packaging is more distinguishing, few times I ask and point at the vegan one and they give you normal one as look the same, end up eating 1/3 then taking it back lol.

        • +1

After posting that I looked at the app and it is on there for $3 (so got another…).

  • +1

Sandwiches & Wraps are $4 as well + Free Smoothie or Shake with Fuel Purchase so you've almost got a complete meal

It's the OzBargain tick approved meal

  • +3

Their spinach rolls are da bomb!

  • Nice deal, too bad my choppa stopped working since I upgraded to iOS 17. Wouldn't have if I knew! Tried both IFL and 3uT, anyone aware of any workarounds?

    • +2

iAnyGo with trial reset via registry editor.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Haha am I the only one that thought from the title that the Sausage Roll would cost $1 and 100 Velocity points?

I'm not sue how to better word it and I get that it doesn't fully make sense (how would they deduct the velocity points?), but that's what came to mind..!

edit: Wait I just realised I missed the "bonus" word.

  • how old are the sausages in 7 eleven generally?

    • +2

24 hours. they throw them out if they've been in the warmer for more than 4 hours.

      • ok good to know its not that old then :)

  • +7

They are removed from the fridge and marked to expire 6 hours from then. They take 1 hour in the oven although stores without an oven will microwave them and put them at the top of the warmer to crisp up for an hour.

Get ready for the sausage rolls to be hidden out the back tomorrow and make a magical comeback on Thursday…

    • +1

Lol! Of course these sell out fast in busy stores. Especially @$1!
That doesn't mean staff are hiding them😜
And overnight delivery ensures supply next day.

The warmer holds max of about 40. May only takes minutes to sell those. BUT a lot longer time to heat & restock.

Just back from store. Only 2 vegan rolls in warmer😢

But had rung to check first. New batch in oven - ready in 40 min. So arrived then.
As store was busy, restocking took longer than expected.

Few minutes later there were almost 40 fresh from oven! Never seen so many rolls at a 7-11!

Nice hot Spinach & Ricotta Roll straight from the oven😋

  • +1

They are not very good sausage rolls even when your late night drunk but they do the job.
Also the sauce is free so you can make them taste a little better for nothing.
I walk past a 711 on the way to the station in the morning so for $1 + get 100 Velocity points I'm sold and breakfast tomorrow is sorted.
I hope my local has stock at 6am!

    • Lucky! There was one waiting for me at 6am.
It was pretty hot, fresh and well cooked. I suggested they might want to put some more out being on promo today.. (or not, and just tell everone it's sold out).

      • +1

should be plenty of vegan ones for me.. mind you some stores hardly ever have them.

  • +1

    Midnight snack time!

  • A dollar for sausage rolls?! Sir Digby Chicken Ceasar will be all over this!

  • Just bought one from cnr Bourke and Exhibition - store manager said they can't scan Velocity QR codes or enter the membership number manually; they can only scan barcodes. Strange - they can do it at the servos.

AFAIK Velocity doesn't have a barcode format.

What a bummer for those of us who've been blacklisted. 🙄

    • Already linked in the app.

      • -1

Right, but if one used the helicopter and got banned, the workaround was manually scanning the Velocity code, which they advise one can do, on their website: https://www.7eleven.com.au/velocity.html

        • -3

          Use one account. Sorted.

    • Tried a different 7-Eleven and they scanned it fine. 🤨

  • Coffee, sandwich, sausage roll $6

  • I chose the Spinach & Ricotta Roll. It was kinda soggy but hey, $1. It's not sitting too well in my stomach, I have a felling the roll is going on a very short trip.

  • Does this include their plant based rolls? Do they still have them?

    • Vegan rolls are $1 today

    • Yes, 'no sausage roll'.
Must have been the best One I've had, flakey and nice.

  • +1

Ended up having the spinach roll. Tasted good, and least half healthy.
