Got a similar VPN deal in Peacock last black friday for US$0.99/month hopefully they do again this November. However they don't show all EPL games but can catch your team playing like half the time
From memory, you just need VPN to open the app to see the stream. You can't cast unless you disconnect VPN which is even better for speeds

i dont wanna advertise the one i use but some tv shows buffer quite a bit on it, usually if they were released ages ago (Suits for example)
As for EPL live, the Optus channels are hit and miss. Usually the South Africa or Hong Kong channels have zero buffering, and they all use the official Premier League Productions broadcast, so just the adverts are local to the channel
they have a Discord that tells you all the channels for each game which is neat
I used to pay $48 for Telstra plan, got a half priced Optus and $6 Optus sports, works out cheaper then what I used to pay and get free Optus sports , need to be on byo mobile though
