    • i dont see that they have it ?

Thats an american website and the chainstore barbecues galore here stopped selling weber yonks ago

      • Ok for the American website, did not know that.

I got this previously for the same price, and $25 shipping to where I am. It's been great, and despite the VB logo which is far more unobtrusive than it seems, I really like the colour more than I thought I would.

If you are in the market for a proper weber kettle, you could do worse than this deal.

I heard that Dan left a little bit of an aftertaste

      Get on the bitters.

      I hear it’s more of a reflux

Bought one as a spare last time. VB logo is already peeling off.

Seems like a plus. You can probably remove it completely with a splash of VB on a microfibre cloth

wish it came in an Emu Export model

    • West End

    Nice VBBQ

Bought this deal last time - Highly recommended!!

  • Will the food taste better using the VB version or original Weber bbq?

  • +2

Do it in a XXXX version and it’s a deal

  • +1

Bought it as well when it was posted previously on Ozbargain. Great unit and the VB variant definitely tastes better 🍻🍺

  • I wanted another kettle, and now I have another kettle. Don't care for VB, but Weber's almost never go on sale soooooooo.

  • Was giving a 404 not found error for a while there but seems to be back now

  • $399 at Bunnings for the non-VB model which might be cheaper for some if you can collect in store https://www.bunnings.com.au/weber-57cm-premium-charcoal-kett…

  • I cant understand why these are so expensive.

    • Branding is a key factor and labour costs since they are manufactured in the US.

They are quite robust and should last you many years if you take care of it.

      • i think these are only "engineered in the USA" and probably made in China, although happy to be wrong (since I own this one)

my dad bought a weber kettle over 30 years ago.

i have inherited it since - when i was a kid 20 odd years ago it got knocked over in a storm resulting in a small chip of enamel.

      thats it. still going strong.

used at least once a month therse days for slow cooked ribs & roast cuts.

lived most its life out in the elements (the wooden handles have all since long gone but no biggie with silicon gloves or a teatowel)

these things are literally a once off purchase that can last a lifetime.

recommend grabbing an inkbird bluetooth unit too

    • The last literally forever and you can find spare parts at any time

  • It's not Webber I'm not buying,. It's the VB

  • whats the best gas bbq for 500 bucks?
