Not me, I love scum, and scumbags, and things of that nature

      • You do realise that a scumbag is a used condom, right?

        • +1

          Isnt that cumbag?

          • @discountseeker: No that's Gen Z and upcoming Gen Alpha girls who use TikTok.

        • Yes I do

getting the high school playground facts right here.

          • @gakko: I was hearing that way back in primary school along with douche and dude

  • good product works well

thanks, i need something to clean build up dirt on bathtub and also tile grouting so hopefully this will do the trick

    • +1

For grout, Bunnings sells a grout cleaner (https://www.bunnings.com.au/long-life-750ml-grout-cleaner_p4…) that is good.. but you need to ventilate well!

The reviews look good. Have you used it personally?

I've tried shower powder before on glass before. It was no better than jif and a scourer.

        • Just spray white vinegar with a bit of dishwashing liquid. Warm the vinegar up a bit in the microwave and warm the glass with a spray of hot water before applying. Leave for 15 mins then scrub off. Cheap and easy.

          • @Qbagger: Thanks, I was asking 87percent if he used the grout cleaner (for grout).

I don't have much issue with glass. I use Jif, but may try your solution.

          • @Qbagger: Is this for the shower/bath or grout?

            • -1

@nicolascage: I use it on glass and tiles specifically. Can't comment on grout sorry.

          • @Qbagger: Does this vinegar/dishwashing liquid combo work well with bathroom basins, toilets etc?

            • @PTG Benny: Basins, absolutely.

Haven't tried in the toilet. It's more for surface soap scum.

            • +1

@PTG Benny: I use it all the time. The vinegar dissolves minerals etc and the soap dissolves fats and oils.

The toilet I go straight to bleach.

              • @jonathonsunshine: Awesome, I will give it a go for sure! And sorry I meant the toilet seat and rim etc. What would be best for this?

        • Yeah I’ve used it. Does the job better than any other one I’ve used. But the fumes will make you cough, so make sure the area is ventilated

  • I found this is not as good as good as BAM.

No mention of Big Kev and his "I'm excited" catchphrase?

Ozbargain now a coles catalogue is it?!

Was at Woolworths before and pringles were half price. Maybe I’ll post that as a bargain to impress everyone.

Seems strange to focus in on this popular post from a normal member when every day reps are using OzB for free advertising.

      • -1

        Fair point!!

It's been 4 years, don't rush in to your first post, champ

      • Ooh. Brutal! Fact is the bar needs to be set higher here. Posting supermarket savings is the lowest of low bars compared to what ozbargain used to be! The forums are a whole other issue. I just want to see this site not just survive but thrive. Will you allow that to happen Timmy?

        • Nothing wrong with that. You may not want to see but the rest of us do. Filter out those posts related to “Coles” and whatever else you dont wanna see and the site will be exactly what you want it to be.

Not a fan of how this product smells.

Shower Power Cleaner is decent, but try Glitz, this one requires no scrubbing. Just spray on shower, leave for 10mins and it removes about 70% of the scum.

    Glitz 750ml Daily Shower Cleaner I/N: 4470489 $9.49 - https://www.bunnings.com.au/glitz-750ml-daily-shower-cleaner…
Glitz Daily Shower Cleaner helps to keep your shower soap scum free, mould and germ free and freshly scented. All you need to do is spray a light mist over the shower each day and it will do the hard work for you. Maintain a sparkling clean shower the easiest way possible.

    • Glitz has some great products. Their glass cleaner is really good too.

      • +1, their Goo And Stain Remover is excellent as well.

    • Does it contain strong chemicals that are harsh on the airways in confined spaces or is it fairly mild?

Cleans well but smells like p%$$,

Oh, then it must be what they use to clean the showers at my gym.

Or George Costanza is a member of your gym…. "it's all pipes…!"

I've had luck using Barkeepers friend. Rinse down the shower, put some on a scourer and just scrub a few times. Rinse down. Finish with a good quality dishwashing detergent and cloth, washing down the shower. Bring up glass beautifully.

    • +1

Bar keepers friend is awesome! I use it for shower screens and also pots and stainless steel tubs. This product is too 1-dimensional and smells bad. I don't recommend it

  • -2

These are awesome as they are citru based and not ammonia, so they don't kill your lungs. In for at least 5-6 to stock up if the nearest coles has it

  • if you want to clean mould from grout - use toliet gel (clear works best - like lemon ) -apply and wait 2hrs and mould is gone
