is there demand for 2nd gen? Not interested in jailbreak anyway so might sell my 2nd gen on ebay or whatever and update to the new one if that's the case

There seems to be quite a demand - I listed mine on eBay and it went for a little over $200
really, wow, I'd be happy to get enough to buy a new one, mine hasn't had much use anyway but I'd prefer the 1080 output, no reason to change otherwise
I believe JB hi-fi had a similar deal last couple of weeks ago for $97, but looks like just ended this week.
Harvey Norman had the best deal $108 with $40 itunes credit. Too bad that ended.
