Unfortunately don't have much more information around terms etc was in a bit of rush and a quick picture was all I managed to get.

You can get more depending on your level, e.g. $210+ for level 5 and you can potentially use a $1 game for trade in.
$200 for ps4 is generally better than what you can get for selling privately.
This deal becomes a lot better once people realise you can trade ANY two games.
There's no minimum value that the games need to be. I just did it right then.
Works out to be $170 credit for the console and $25 each for the games. If you have some FIFA 19s lying around this is your chance to get rid of them.
The EB Staff are a lot nicer to deal with than the typical Scumtree mouth breather.

PS4 is not worth much than this nowadays
Some pre-owned games cost about 50 cents or $1 (my local store had no problem accepting them but reading the comments there are some stores that said the minimum trade value had to be $10)
My local said PS4 Pro is not acceptable for this trade deal, only available for PS4 Slim. Any able to confirm that they were able to trade their PS4 Pro for this deal?

Tell your local to check the trade in guide on their system. The PS4 Pro should be eligible. Ditto for the Slim 1TB.
I did, they said PS4 Pro is not eligible, only has $80 trade in value.

Purely depends on what stock the stores need. When I asked recently about the Pro, they said there are no trade-in deals for that at the moment because they're way OVER stock from a previous deal.

They'll test it to make sure it works. Consoles must be "working, complete and resalable", they'll stick a disk in it in the store to make sure it works (at least, last time I sold a console there they did that, that was years ago though)

Just traded in my PS4 slim and two really old games that would've normally traded in for about $5 according the guy there.
I got $220 credit (and I'm only level 1).
Then paid for the rest using ultimate gift cards I bought last week.
What if they have trade or half price stickers on them? I have a number of games that I bought on discount.
That shouldn’t matter as long as you have the disc. Just keep in my mind sometimes the staff don’t know their own deals. I actually asked three stores and two of them said I could trade anything in and one said the minimum trade value had to be $10.

99% of PS4 games are playable.
Some are even enhanced when playing on the PS5 (improved load times, graphics and/or framerates)

yeah the trade and save deals to be honest arent' good at eb games, I feel you much better off just selling it on gumtree or ebay and then going to buy a ps5 because the trade in value is pretty low.

Because it is EB Games. When they run promotions, sometimes they only give out bonus credits to certain models.

Everyone saying it's better to sell privately I'm not so sure. I've seen so many PS4 Pros sit on marketplace for like $150 with 10+ games and a controller for weeks, they even drop it to $100. I bought a PS4 Pro with controller for $100 to play Bloodborne and when I went to sell it it had sat up for over a week before being sold for $100. I'd jump on this trade in deal if I had a pro or slim!
Yeh surprised this deal isn't as popular as it should be. People are obviously unaware or just wishfully thinking when it comes to how the PS4 is selling on marketplace. Way easier trading in for ~$200 than trying to sell a PS4 slim on marketplace for same price. Good luck to those trying to sell it ;)

Bought my 500gb slim a few months back for $120 with 2 controllers, God of War and Last of Us.
Traded in the slim, 2 controllers, Lego Star Wars Xbox, stupid My Universe pets switch game and Halo Master Chief Collection and paid $328.
Apparently if I was to trade my slim and a controller in any other day I'd get $60 credit!

Didn't need a PS5, but I did it to sell my PS4 for a reasonable price. I would have gotten the same or less if I sold it privately.
