Shout out to AkuroPlays @ KFC Australia who found this hack.

For comparison, large chips is $5.25 on its own.

  1. Go to the product page for Double Combo Meal (under Everyday Online Deals), you will see a < on the top left of the screen. Click "add to order" then immediately press the <
  2. You will now be on the cart screen - remove the double combo meal.
  3. Click Menu from the bottom navigation and add 2 large sides for $6.95

2 x large sides hack also works with Tenders Dipping Feast if you cannot find double combo meal (thanks squish y)
For the maxi popcorn, do the same hack except with Giant Feast instead of double combo meal.

        Every time a "hack" like this gets shared on OzBargain, it gets quickly patched out like a tragedy of the commons. Using some made up numbers for the sake of argument, would you rather:

        • keep a "hack" to yourself and use it for months - saving yourself (and your close friends) $200 over a year, or
        • cash it out for OzBargain fame - giving up your own savings, but saving OzBargain users a total of $2000 over a day?

        Do you value your own money more than OzBargain users' money? Is it unethical to keep these "hack"s to yourself instead of sharing it for the greater good?

          But then why comment and brag about knowing something and not share it? Ozbargain has a lot of regulars and lurkers, and in between. They could easily have just not commented since they were able to 'keep the hack' to themselves and save.

          This guy was literally like "I knew about this deal before OP, but I didn't want to share it. Now that it is out in the open, I'm going to let everyone know that I knew about first."

          They have gained and saved so much from ozbargain but don't even have the decency to share, and this is the attitude they choose to take.

    Doesn't seem to work (on Android?)
    Followed steps but after adding 2x chips, get "Whoops, something went wrong! Please try again." error message and an empty cart.

    EDIT: works with other items but never 2x large chips

    Works great, thanks heaps! Just got us lunch of all add ons, no questions asked at the drive through. $7.45 maxi popcorn, $6.95 two sides, and $7.45 4 piece chicken. Not a regular thing for us but this hack made me pull the trigger.

    Does anyone else NOT see the double combo meal in their app? I've tried a couple stores around my area (Melbourne SE) but none have this meal :(

    Nevermind, I tried using the "Tenders Dipping Feast" and was able to see the 2 large sides add on.
