    For anyone wondering:

S6 features a USB Type-C port with up to 90W charging to power your laptop and transmit data with just one cable, in addition to a LAN Port which allows a laptop that has no LAN port to simply connect to the monitor for Ethernet use.

    How about a 4K deal?🙏

  • +1

Still prefer the refurbished 32in 4k for around $150.

    • +1

      Full HD 1080p only

      • would that be too bad for office work only?
I would prefer to get a curved display

        • +4

1080p is too low a resolution for 32" in my opinion.

  • How is anyone's experience with this seller? I recall buying a range extender from them some years ago and it was DOA. They were not brilliant to deal with on requesting a replacement/refund but got there eventually.

Sort of made me not ever go back to them after that experience. It was some 7-8 years ago though so maybe they are better at customer engagement or support now.

    • Can only speak based on my limited encounters… after the first couple of purchases I have no desire to go back for more.

All I'll say is that if you have any issues, their online support via eBay is abysmal.

Once additional warning… what is listed in ebay as a "Express Parcel Delivery" (which is free with ebay plus) is actually Star Track courier. So if you're unfortunate enough to select a Parcel Locker for delivery, you're in a world of hurt.

I know it's a difference in price with this deal, but I've been looking at the LG 32GP750 which is about $419.

I don't actually want a gaming monitor, just for home use. This deal might be a better buy? (other than va panel?)

  • Tried to find some reviews on this, but couldn't find much and nothing on RTINGS.

Can anyone comment on this monitor for office use (I'll be using it for uni and research work).

    • Based on the specs on paper, it can do that and heaps more.

    • office use is pretty much the lowest bar there is. im sure it would be fine. the ethernet feature is uncommon and a big selling pt for me personally. other than that you can probbaly find heaps of monitors that meet your needs

i wonder if this is the same as the S6UA

The ethernet feature isn't uncommon anymore, just in the bargain basement ones.

Many monitors with the feature advertise their capabilities as "built in dock".

Looking at that first image in the listing, at first impression I thought this is a wireless monitor. 😳

  • +4

Welp, I bought it. Under the magic $300 mark for full tax write off and like that it can power a connected laptop. Now to fit two 32 inch monitors on my desk…

    Any other specials Op?

    • Swipe down on the ebay post… it should come up with the discount.. happened to me, thought they ended the discount… swiped down and it appeared 🙂

Update - absolute bloody shemozzle getting this thing delivered. They are using Aramex. Delivery now missed twice in two days - they didn't knock either time, I'm pretty sure they didn't even come past the second time. No phone number to call (it's just for clients), live chat not answered. I'd go to the depot, but it's probably not even there, just on a merry go around in some truck somewhere.

Never, ever, ever buy something from anyone who uses Aramex to deliver. There is a reason they have a 1.2 rating out of more than 7000 Google reviews.

    • I have been on the fence about whether to pick one up, and this has helped me stay clear of the deal! Thanks for giving the update - I don't have the time to chase a nightmare delivery. Hopefully, yours resolved quickly, and as easily as possible!

    • I am looking at one as well 21 Oct. Did it ever arrive? If so how have you found the quality. I am looking at it strictly for office work and marry it with another older 27 inch as the second monitor. I just went to JB and put a 32 next to a 27 and I am wondering if its going to be simply too big a combo or would 2x27 be better? Your thoughts now [you] have one? Many thx in advance. BTW I was told they have a 'glass/glossy' screen like an IMAC is that true?

      • Hi mate, I ended up getting through on live chat and got them to keep it at the depot. It then took well over an hour of waiting there before they found it and brought it out.
I'm happy with the quality of it, I've got it next to a 32 inch 4k and it still looks nice and sharp, colour is good. I'm using it only for office work too and it's good for that. Don't know about 'glossy' screen but it's punchy enough

  • Mine stuck at depot since 4.10.23 and no update at all. Tried using Aramax chat support for last 2 days. No one replied at all.

Asked vendor to escalate and no reply from them after initial reply that they will look into it.

Might need to get money if no response from anyone end of this week.

    • Did you get any resolution to this? Mine has been 'onboard for delivery' in the suburb of delivery since Tuesday (just gone) PM. I've sent them a message asking for an update.

  • Looks like the code doesn't work anymore?
