I want this mouse but the comments from the last deal indicate that it's kinda lucky dip whether you'll get one with issues or not.

    • Honestly, just get it. The shape alone is worth it imo. I've gone through two of them, had double clicking with the first after a couple years.

I love Logitech mice but I've gone through 3 in the past 4 years. 1st was a G703 which only had cosmetic damage to the rubber part so they accidentally sent me 2 G Pro wireless instead. Both G Pro's have had some failure from double click issue, scroll wheel issues and not clicking when pressed…

    • Yeah I've gone through 2 of these within the warranty period and while the shape is decent the reliability is a pain.

    • Totally agree. I went through 3 of them in a couple of years. They all developed issues with the scroll wheel and became far too annoying to live with.

It's a very comfortable and reliable mouse, right up to the point where it stops working. Unfortunately it's just too prone to failure to recommend.

I replaced with Deathadder Pro v2 which is a very similar size and shape, and barely noticed the change. It's been good so far; no complaints

      • Strange days when a Razer product is the more reliable one.

    • damn i guess im the only one who's been using the same g703 for the past 3 years. Its great tho

  • Does this have usb-c or mirco? I went through the website sepcs and it says usb and I couldn't make out from the pics.

    • Micro, unfortunately.

  • I've got two of these. I like them both, but I had to solder in some replacement switches on the first one as it started double clicking. I only got the second as it was here on OzBargain, and I still have some leftover switches that I can put in it.

  • Is this good for big hands? Using a Deathadder v2 for reference and I think its a little small for me

It's very similar in size and shape to the Deathadder V2.

    • Feels very different in the hand compared to the v2. The hump is larger and sits further back so it fills your palm better.

I have the v3 pro and it's closer in shape to the g703 compared to the v2.

  • Had one since 2018 and just recently got the scroll wheel issue. Fantastic mouse tho I'm getting another

whatever switch logitech uses seems to be very easy to develop double click issue…

Bought an original G502 — m1 double clicked within 3 year, got refund
bought a 2nd gen G502 — the top left programable button double clicked in just over a year — got given a replacement of 3rd gen
around the same time wireless gaming mouse become a thing and I bought a G304 from China (way before it was available in Australia)… double clicked
used the 3rd gen G502 for a year or 2….. m2 double clicked— don't have receipt no more so went and bought a wireless G502

my wireless G502 might starting to double click too, but it was quite rare and I haven't confirmed yet wither if it's just game ping hiccup or the mouse is double clicking….

luckily I learnt how to do basic solder later and bought about 20 kailh switches, I used it to fix my Wired G502 and that G304… Now I have Wireless G502 at home, Wired G502 at work, and G304 on my wife's PC…. so far non of those Hailh switches have ever double clicked.

  • oh btw G703 is actually much bigger than what most think when they first look at the picture, it have a pretty big arch and does not suit claw or grip, it suits for those who like to rest their hand nice and soft on the mouse.

(reason I know is because I bought a G403 wireless at some stage and the wireless receiver stop responding soon after I bought it, doesn't suit my hand so got a refund and did not look back)

  • It says Bluetooth on Amazon, which I believe is incorrect.

    • Yes, no Bluetooth. Only 2.4ghz via USB dongle or (from memory) wired via USB cable.

  • my g703 also had lots of damage to the rubber thumb grip very quickly
been on the deathadder v2 pro for longer than i was on the g703 and it has held up much better

  • I have this but lost the dongle. Was surprised it’s near impossible to get a genuine replacement for a reasonable price

  • One of my favourite mice. Really wish they'd make a superlight version. Bought one as a spare.

  • says $96 for me

  • Mouse arrived but looks like it's a grey import
