  • ~~ I bought a pair for the kids a couple of years ago from EB when they were a similar price. ~~

The kids really liked them especially because of smash brothers.

    Sorry they were actually these

  • All these cheap third party remotes should be honestly. But nonetheless, a good deal.

I picked up the fancy light up RBG one with back paddles and shit a couple weeks ago for the kiddo's Chrissy pile and I have been dying to open the thing up and have a look.

  • Yeah these and the PDP ones are licensed though so Nintendo is putting their name on them.
Then again they seem to license to a few brands.

This pdp one is on special at eb

Dont have a lot of accessories but interested to know how people rate

    PowerA
    PowerWave
    PDP
    Hori

    for example

    • Based on Amazon and YouTube reviews, I bought a couple of these:

      https://www.amazon.com.au/PXN-Wireless-Controller-Vibration-…

The brown and green variants have HALL sensors so should never drift.

    • I've had the wired Hori, the split pad pro and the split pad compact.

Wired - decent cheap alternative if you don't mind a cable to the Pro controller. Has a D-pad add on which I liked. No rumble or any of the fancy features. Think an old skool controller. It has recently started to drift though, after about.. 5 years? Medium usage.

Hori pro - solid controller for handheld mode but really big. I like the analogue sticks on it, and a D-pad again is a must, but it's very big and chunky. Good for big hands.

Hori compact - like the pro, but a lot smaller. This is my pick of the lot. Again, no modern aspects like gyro or rumble, but just a solid controller for handheld mode.

  • Wired controller in 2023. Nice.

    • Perfect for those who don't want Bluetooth EMF especially when the kids are using it.

  • Does it work on PC?
