  These are ok for 4k streaming within apps, lacks the WiFi bandwith for streaming local 4k rips though.

    A USB C hub can be used to connect via ethernet.

    Really? I watch 4k h254 rips via wifi. Been watching Attenborough's wild isles via plex with no recoding.

    Are you aire your using the 5ghz wifi channel? That has heaps.of bandwidth to cover 4k streaming.

      Would love some advice as to how I can make mine work. I know the CCWGTV is definitely connected to my 5ghz network, just not sure what channel it's specifically connected to though. Could it be because I'm using Kodi to play the files which are hosted in a HDD on my network?

        I find VLC is more stable for playing files (but doesn't have all of the nice cataloging or front end of Kodi).

  That's pretty pricey compared to when I bought it for like $60 a few months ago.
