pretty sure they've nerfed the 'win' rates for freebies in this app. I've been using it solidly on iphone since it came out, and in the past 2 weeks or so, I've been getting a lot more 50% off vouchers, rather than free whoppers, cheese burgers, soft serves, frozen cokes etc.
How many times can you do it a day?
Once per store per 10 hours.

Yes, technically competitions are not allowed but if every entry gets you a prize then it is a freebie (if I interpret this correctly).

The was no complaints when the iOS version was posted. You will always get a voucher or a free food item. Sure, if you call it "winning" it sounds like a competition.

Usually when deals are raved about by the OB community some terms are disregarded due to the overall satisfaction of the 'deal'. Personally I'm glad this is here since I wouldn't have seen it in the forums.
Look at the word "competition", meaning "to compete" - meaning there is a winner, and a loser. There are no losers with this deal, hence it's more of a lucky dip as opposed to a competition. Ease up on being a definition nazi dude!
win doesn't equal competition. Competition implies the possibility of losing. win = getting something of any value, through competitive or non-competitive means.

Use "Fake GPS" app if you want to check in at your local HJ store to see what prize you will win without having to go there first.
Fake GPS is perfect because it gives you 20min to grab the deal - just got a breakfastbacon mcmuffin offer as 2pm?? They stop making them at 11am so not sure what would happen there

You can check into any store and walk up to another store btw, the voucher doesn't show the store anywhere.
So use Fake GPS to check into stores all over Sydney until you get your whopper, and walk into the store you're next to.

just create a fake facebook account so your friends won't know why you are putting on so much weight.

I just declined the access rights of the Hungry Jacks mobile app to post on my behalf, then it flicked to the shake screen. Doesn't look like it posted on facebook. No one will know my dirty fast food secret! Except the people who can see my waist line :(

that's pretty obvious sarcasm to me. the deal title mentions ''now available on android'', and all ozbargains would know that there's always iOS app freebies or deals being posted. hence why it's very humerous and well executed sarcasm. enjoy!
use screen capture when you get a good deal, show that image without zooming( :) ) in the store… they will not be checking your mobile… that way you can re use the deal :)

The images aren't a full voucher, just the parts which make up the winning tickets. Still need to compile them together. Perhaps with a countdown timer.
Still amazes me what one would do to grab a free bite around here.
Prior knowledge of android app development means it's a 1 min job to extract images.

I tried decompiling the .apk file using ninjamorph, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working on my phone.
Is it possible for us to decompile the .apk, and instead of sending the request to https://hungryjacks.com.au/hj_app_prizes/get.php have it sent to something like https://sitethatbelongstome.com/hj_app_prizes/get.php and have that page generate the prizes we want?
