    Yeah - pretty much. Also if you start a trial, they'll send you offers too.

    Xero sucks, though. Almost impossible to leave once you start. Look for a solution without a monthly subscription.

      Might be your experience, but I feel Xero is great for my small business. Their automation saved me hours of manual accounting and tracking, and easily pays for itself 10x over. (not affiliated with Xero..)

      Im.stuck with XERO, i did try and leave with MYOB/Quickbooks, they transfer all your accounts/books etc over.

      But i chickened out at the last minute and stayed.

      XERO has price increases it seems every 6 months. I started out paying $40 per month and now its $60.

      You cannot find a solution without monthly subscription nowadays. Unless you use free Excel like google spreadsheet.
      I kinda agree Xero is not a user friendly platform. They actually should call themselves a marketing company. They do much better marketing than their product. They try to make people think bookkeeping is so simple and "beautiful". In fact, the majority users have no idea how to use the software correctly.
      Personally, I think Quickbooks offers better UI. However, their marketing is no match with Xero.
      MYOB cloud is a real failure - loads of issues.
      The above is just based on my personal experience working as a tax agent.

  Been on Xero for more than 13 years now… Zero discount for existing customers, the price kept on going up and up, even though I am still using the same old features.

  But as it has been said, I'm stuck and the competitions aren't better either.
