        • All the echo devices are priced at 2x the real rrp so amazing can put them on half price sales through the year

        • What is better quality sound?

        • I completely agree.

After playing around with the tips I still can't find the right size so the buds stop slowly coming out. The ANC/pass through gives me constant wind noises if there's a slight breeze. Quality is on par with my Blueant Pumps. These are definitely not worth $200. Tempted to sell mine for $50 and stay with my Pumps.

  • Luckily I am at home, require a one-time password. Thanks OP, received!

  • my delivery shows Oct 30th :(

  • Mine has arrived and I just set it up. Wow I didnt realise I was getting Alexa in my head, that's awesome - so cool just asking Alexa to turn on fan, play a band name, call mum, etc. That's far more amazing than I was expecting.

  • Code still works? Asking for a friend, already redeemed on my account

    • Give it a go if you can get past the "Out of Stock" bit :-)

      • Yeah hoping that it will come in back stock soon and setting up a notification for when it does but unsure if the code was expired too

        • Yeah but the T&Cs of existing offer notes "or while stocks last".

Speculation Only: Even if they get more in, It wouldn't surprise me if Amazon/Audible spotted their mistake by using a single Promo Code and adjust to only permit accounts that were indeed targeted?

OR If they had sense, to make their lives easier, hold off until after the promo period of 13 Nov before restocking. Only time will tell* :-)

  • are all amazon owned products need a one-time password? Find it frustrating when not at home.

    • I've had 3 deliveries require OTP in the past few weeks - all of them were some form of electronics. Annoyingly one was a drop shipped product that I bought from a seller on ebay!

  • +1

I don’t know why but I just got an email saying that they have refunded these and the carrier has returned the item. No reason given!! Anyone else have this?

    • Did you change the delivery address? It happened to my wife as well, and I think it's because she changed the address to be delivered to in the Auspost settings

      • Nope didn’t change the address. It was coming with Austpost and it looks like it’s been transferred. I got a refund from Amazon.

        • Mine was also returned to Amazon. Auspost app showed that it was returned due to wrong address. Which buds did you order? I ordered the wired ones, but not sure if that made a difference?

          • @im1forever: The wireless ones. I’m assuming you had the right address? My austpost tracker just says it’s transferred. I’ve never had an issue with Amazon deliveries or austpost ones.

            • @PropertyPig: Yep correct address. Spoke to a rep on the online chat and they said that it was being returned to the seller because it was damaged…

              • +3

@im1forever: So i ended up contact amazon and saying that I didn't want the $10 refund, i wanted the product. They said the product is out of stock so I couldn't have it, I'd have to buy it when it came back in stock. But I couldn't use the code again. After talking to them for ages, they eventually credited my amazon account with $189 to purchase the earphones when they come back in stock!

  • Just received these on my non prime account through auspost.
Paired with app - works fine. I have soundpeats and i feel like the only thing that's better is the ANC which doesn't even really work that well.

    • +1

Soundpeats have many models so doesn't tell us much without letting us know which ones you are comparing against.

I have a pair of SOUNDPEATS TrueAir2 which are great and my daily buds however these Amazon buds are so much better sound wise and perhaps as they are in ear. The touch sensors are much better and works first time whereas the Soundpeats can require multiple attempts. I agree, the ANC on these is so so but not a priority for me. Anyhow, for $10 what a bargain or even for $57 (cost of Soundpeat TrueAir2), I'd rate these better (for me at least)

      • Yeh whoops. Same model as yours. I'm not actually complaining. I'm pretty much saying it's probably worth the same as the trueair2 It's well worth $10 but my soundpeats would be what i still use for phone calls or talking them out. I also believe the echo dot 2 Don't have anc microphones? I'm not a heavy user anyway. Good to have a spare now. I believe i ended up getting the true air 2 for around $25 and never had issues with them.. I also rarely use the touch sensors. Enjoy them!

  • Just received these. Build quality feels like ~$150, sound quality feels like ~$40. When I first opened the case I was super impressed, but once the I started listening I was so disappointed. But! For $10, these are worth it.

  • Seen a few pop up on FB marketplace lol

  • Received these today. This was a great deal, thanks for posting! I never got the email but I am an Audible & Prime subscriber.

I offer some advice and I ask some advice:
Use the (very basic) equalizer in the amazon app to fine tune the sound a bit, makes heaps a difference
Also in the app you can adjust the passthrough intensity, so turn that down a bit if it annoys you (and you use the passthrough mode).

Now, has anyone been able to chain the Alex voice? Mine came with a female Indian accent and when I say "Alexa, change your voice" there is just one other option, an Indian male.

    • What's the country setting in the Alexa app? I think I recall that being one of the questions when setting up the app a while ago.

  • How did I miss this :(

  • I now understand why these were 10 bucks. Will not stay in the ear even when walking. Pretty big design flaw. I wouldn't pay more than 10 for these lol

    • Out of the box luckily they fit my ears well and have never fallen out. Did you try the other sizes in the box?

      • Yeah tried them all, and tried the wings that came with it. Constantly dropping out just from walking to the point that I've almost lost them several times in the street. Have a feeling that they only fit certain types of ear shape. Pretty big design flaw.

    • It's no different to other in ear designs though? I had the same issue with two other in ear designs. I prefer the semi in ear like Air pod.

  • +2

$10 is still possibly too much - these buds are terrible. Poor audio quality, constant static hiss even with ANC and passthrough off.

  • Agree with all the above - these are poorly designed. Older gen Samsung buds or similar are infinitely better.
