  • Fat is 9 grams! More calories from fat than everything else combined

      Yeah they’re aimed at keto people hence high fat.

    • +4

      It's only 150 calories. That's less than an Up-and-Go lol. Hell, most people start their day with a coffee that has more calories than this.

    • 9g of fat?
      Thanks for pointing this out, kinda hmm.. it was not mentioned in the description. Instead we have the low sugar, low carb…

      Deceptive?

        If you are looking at these type of products to support your change and growth in lifestyle, You should be looking at the complete nutrient breakdown. It's a good habit overall. May have saved you from getting the jab too.

  • These any good? Started exercising again, making a shake after a run would be nice.

    • What are your goals and are you keto? I think it depends on your situation

      • Weight loss at the moment. I read keto can make your body more efficient at using fat for energy.

          Just eat less, fill up on fruit and veggies and drink plenty of water

            @Bertus:

            fill up on fruit and veggies

            Most fruit have too much sugar…

            Eat more veg, meat and limited fruit…

              @jv: Sugar from fruit is not same as just sugar.

                @G7brg:

                Sugar from fruit is not same as just sugar.

                It kind of is the same…

              • @G7brg: fructose is sugar

                • @scottySK: Fruits contain fructose and it’s sugar, not arguing about it. Please read this if you are worried about sugar from fruit https://nutritionfacts.org/blog/what-about-all-the-sugar-in-…

                    @G7brg: Michael Greger? Lol. Vegan trickster. Fructose gets processed through the liver, and is quite different from glucose, which is why it does not cause blood sugar and insulin spikes. This is not to say it is harmless. Fructose is considered by some doctors to be far worse than glucose in its impact on visceral fat storage and contribution to fatty liver. https://www.nofructose.com/introduction/overview/

                    @G7brg: Pretty sure you said sugar in fruit is not the same as sugar… If you mean fructose is not the same as sucrose, you are correct - fructose in fruit is actually worse for our body than sucrose

                    • @scottySK: Sucrose is 50% glucose and 50% fructose. They cause a different biochemical response inside the body, but both are bad in their own way when consumed in excess.

          Avoid keto unless you can commit 100% to the lifestyle, you lose a lot of time if you keep going in and out of ketosis.
          These shakes aren't worth it, you won't feel full, you'll get insulin spikes as they process though your system too fast.
          If you want shakes, just grab protein powder and light/plant milks and throw in something like spinach.
          You'll get your macro nutrients and control your appetite better.

            @EnnZed-Shopping: Agreed
            Keto is for the committed
            Unless U have a date goal and don't care about what happens after.
            Overall change Ur lifestyle.

          Shake isnt that good for weight loss. It doesn’t keep you full as it goes through your body much quicker than solid foods.

        • +2

          Also suggest you don’t do any extreme diet for now (keto, omad/extreme intermittent fasting, replacement meal shake). Consistency should be your first priority goal. Aim 3-5 high intensity exercise a week, and even in your rest day try keep active. Reduce your overall food intake, increase protein, vegs, reduce carbs/sugar & fat. Once you can comfortably do this consistently (ie. you can enjoy your new lifestyle) then at least you have a base foundation before trying anything more difficult.

          Just sharing from experience.

          Don't listen to all the rubbish above.

          Keto works. It gets results quickly, but you must do it properly…

          Use it to get a kick start to where you want to be, lose some weight, get motivated and then work out what you want to do long term and how to get there….

    • I found them very watery and not at all enjoyable.

    • These any good?

      No, they taste crap.

  • These are currently $2.25 at Woolies, but they they taste crap…
