The larger A7 IV offers a better viewfinder, dual memory card slots and longer battery life. On the flip-side, the smaller, lighter A7C II offers some additional video features, more effective IBIS, bigger burst shooting buffer and longer battery life, not to mention that cost-saving.

Just sign up for a new Sony account and make sure you opt in for marketing. It says in bold that you must opt in at sign up to get the welcome voucher so if you don’t tick it you won’t get the voucher. I got the welcome voucher after an 1hr after logging in and confirming my email address

You can try in store or via live chat, but they likely going to say that they can’t price match coupon discount codes

Hmm interesting, I placed my order at around 6.30pm and paid via commbank debit card. Got an initial email saying that my order is being reviewed and processing, then another email 10min later which was the order confirmation with order number.
No other email yet, so hoping mine isn’t cancelled. I also ordered a lens with mine which I also price matched so not sure if that made a difference.
@blitzn: Update - I got an Auspost notification from Sony with Tracking information just today. No dispatch email yet, but checked my order details online and both orders have been updated to ‘despatched’ status.
If you having issues process orders on credit card I would try debit card or PayPal

I just had the A7c II price matched instead and it won't stack with the new customer 10% coupon. It just says "Not Applied" in the cart. How are you guys stacking the coupon and price matching?
Also no idea if it would work but I see for the next 10hrs CashRewards has a 7% cash back. Considering the coupon won't work I don't think i could stack this as well.
I didn’t have that issue, although it looks some people are having issues getting their payment and order confirmed. Have you made sure there are no typos in the code you are entering? I assume you just copy pasted from your email.
If it still doesn’t work, maybe Sony has stopped the codes from stacking.
Found out the issue, https://store.sony.com.au/mysony-product-exclusions.html the A7c II Black/Silver/R is specifically excluded from the welcome promotion. Probably because it's so new.

Google "CashRewards" no idea if i can link it. It's like ShopBack.
just got the Sony a7iv using the 7% cashback link. the 10% discount worked but couldn't tell if the cash reward worked or not.
Cashrewards didn’t track for me either. In their terms and conditions it says that any coupon code used that is not listed on their website is ineligible for cashback.
I received an email saying mine got tracked. Waiting for Sony to accept.

Has anyone had their order fulfilled with the new welcome code. My order keeps getting unfulfilled with no answer as to why it gets cancelled, wonder if there credit card payment system is the culprit… not a great start to a new account/user lol
