          If you are just staying in the city area / tourist area it should be OK.

          If you are going to Ubud and further - Telkomsel would be better.

              @harvestloon: The deal applies sitewide so it will apply to all SIMs.

              Local SIMs is always better but just a little bit more finicky due to the passport registration.

    The 20GB Japan SIM we bought last time around worked very well. No problems Tokyo to Hiroshima and even worked in Singapore on the way home! Be patient waiting for the SIM to initialise.

    I can vouch for the Asia explorer. We used in Japan and Malaysia earlier this year and worked without any troubles. Maintained pretty good connection in multiple cities.

      For physical SIM - it will work in all the countries you mentioned.

      For eSIM most will work there except the Balkan Europe eSIM

      Australia carrier charges between $5 - $10AUD per day for international roaming.

      With our SIMs if you are going to Europe for 2 weeks thats $70 - $100 of roaming charges.

      Our SIMs are much cheaper than this :) Plus if you have a dual SIM functionality you can use your Australian number solely for receiving SMS (free).

          I was replying to the above poster asking why buy a SIM here vs buying a potentially cheaper overseas SIM when you arrive overseas (ie, "local SIM" = SIM bought in at the overseas destination). And I said maybe the local SIM (eg bought in European country) doesn't offer cross-Europe and UK coverage like yours. But I wasn't sure, maybe local SIMs do.

    last time i went to the U.S. I bought a AT&T sim card for 40 bucks but it came with a plan and preactivated off ebay so all I had to do is put in my phone on the plane and turn on my town when I landed. the plane was unlimited data and unlimited talk time so I am surprised that the esim plan you have here is less but only 8gb of data? thats pretty bad.

      How long ago did you buy this? Don’t think you can buy an unlimited 30 days plan for $40AUD anymore.

    I've used TravelKon sims a few times now and can vouch for their convenience and speeds. Just remember to do a reset of the phone and turn on roaming if you have issues connecting upon landing.
