Is that price every few weeks.
I've been waiting for the 300amp one to get under $900.
It gets to $999 every few weeks

Pretty sure this is the "going" rate a lot of the time, one way or another (either by itself or mixed with a combo deal).

Still very good price for 200ah lithium battery.

        • Bollocks - the onus is on you to back up your neg. What's with the sass from commentators in this deal

          • @Hinee: Seriously? The neg is a community service - highlights the significantly cheaper price from the very same supplier. Maybe a new vote category with a STOP sign is needed.

Legend. Thanks for the heads up. Purchased one this morning, called them and they've given me $60 credit.

        • Well your comment seemed to indicate there was something else and it was cheaper. No need to be an a$$ and have attitude.

          • @geekcohen: The link was posted immediately above his comment.

            • @Igaf: Yeah, well I didn't put two and two together.

Kmarts 80ah AGM are $55 and there butane heater is $19 and there car electric blanket 12v $9 all on clearance, I got all of them over the weekend..

I would post these but can't figure out how on mobile app?

VERY cheap, although only for 40Ah usable if you want the battery to last, so only light use or short timespan before recharging is required. Setups vary widely but for a fridge and some lights, around 30Ah per day isn't far off the mark if you want a rough figure.

      • Make a battery bank with 10 of them in parallel! 800ah for $550 - tis the ozbargain way

          How are maths grades ?

          • @zombie hunter: Herp derp.
            8 x 10 = 400, you must be teh smarts.

When talking about AGM at least use the nominal rating not the "usable capacity". How are they sold? As 40ah or 80ah?

        • 400Ah in practice. How you gunna charge them?

    • I have a couple of these Kmart AGM's but haven't seen them in store for about 60 months or more.

      • @Ozyow how have you found them so far? I got the last three at my local Kmart in resivour, Vic on Sat

Hi, @Bertus, I have found them good over the last couple of years. I use them in XTM Battery boxes for camping and to run 2 together to run house fridge in case of a limited power outage. The weight is as heavy as I can go with my back when moving them in and out of my work\personal car. As my car is not set up with DC to DC or solar being a work car. I get 40 amps out of them down to 50% and they can take a 20 amp charge which is nice.

After a year of abusing the king battery we found it to better than the voltx. My mate using with the renogy 3000watt inverter and if get 2 years out of it we will be happy. It is his only source of power

not a deal. they fluctuate these prices every other week with extra items you might not need.
this appears on all their products.
for the 200ah this is every other week 'deal'.

  • The Kings battery packs appear to be just 4 simple prismatic cells in series, which is no good if you want to deconstruct it and reconfigure it for a higher voltage battery pack.
I bought Jaycar 100Ah 12v "PowerTech" brand from a few days ago.
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/806495
Here is a photo of it almost entirely deconstructed. https://ibb.co/BgvhSdm
It's 16 lifepo4 pouch cells in 4S4P configuration. I plan to reconstruct it as a 16S ebike battery pack. I am glad Jaycar (currently) sell their 12volt lithium battery packs in large cell numbers, to me that means more quality (IMO) because the cheaper ones are just four huge prismatic cells which requires less wiring and are easier/cheaper to make, and having 4 cells in serial is useless for an ebike battery pack as it still can only add up to 12volts no matter what you do.
With this Jaycar "PowerTech" 16cell battery pack I can reconfigure it to be a 52volt ebike battery pack (16cells x 3.3volts = 52volts), hopefully Jaycar don't start selling the simpler 4 cell only packs or this won't be doable anymore.
Frankly I think all battery pack sellers should list the cell configuration of the battery pack like "4S4P" etc, as that is extremely important to those who deal with them a lot.
