Even more expensive TVs can be slow on the smarts. Just get your preferred external solution: fire-TV, google, apple-tv etc.

      • A TV stick can fix the speed?

        • A TV stick has their own operating sytem so you wont be using the TV's own system.

          • @RandomEnjoyer: My Google TV stick is pretty much the same as my Android TV system. Not too sure about the Roku TV stick tho.

For the TV at this price I would say a stick will improve a lot to the original system.

      • Very nibble, not slow at all. However limited range of apps available (eg no ABC iview)

  • only for sydney :(

I have this TV. Great TV for the price.

    • Any thoughts people:
      …this Ffalcon (JB Hi-fi) or the 75" EKO TV (Big W) ?

      • I haven't directly compared with the EKO, but every EKO TV I have seen have been just generic cheap TV. Ffalcon is TCL and they do pretty decent budget TVs.

My parents have an Ffalcon TV, and the remote control smashes through batteries. Seems like I’m changing the batteries once every couple of months (have tried different brands, rechargeable ones)

  • 120hz tv for $500 at 50in when

  • FFalcon is a subsidiary brand of TCL.

  • even cheaper if you could use the Home gift cards… I actually saw this TV in JB, nice and bright, good colors comparing to other TVs there…not as heavy as I thought, if you're on a budget, this is ideal.

The FFalcon 55" 55UF2 Ultra HD HDR Smart TV is just $342.40 with this coupon.

  • As long as you are ok with greys and not blacks go for it. You buy better tvs because they can disply accurate pictures and control the backlight efficiently to not have dark scenes be unwatchable.

    • The black levels on my Ffalcon TV in the bedroom are actually quite good, especially for the price. They're TCLs budget brand.

Worst name for a brand in the history of bbrands.
