Bought the cleaner instead of the cleanser.

  • Do people use it anywhere else other than the toilet? Something about we need to be touching germs to keep our immune systems trained? Or do we buy these just for the spray bottle?

    • Yes.

    • Spray and Wipe on many surfaces I assume. Look on the back for ideas.

I no longer buy the 48 pack Quilton and have this hooked up to my Costco bidet.

      • i heard bidet doesnt clean 100% and need the final swish by quilton. can confirm?

          nice to wipe after.
          Just get some baby wipes

  • S&S ended

  • Will it kill covid-2019?

    • 99.9% of it. Probably more, but for legal purposes 99.9% is what they have to say. Same stuff commercial kitchens use to quickly sanitise surfaces and dishes after washing, benzalkonium chloride. Literally destroys lipid membranes and their contents, which Covid19 needs to survive.

  • Sorry – there was a problem.

Aldi's antibacterial range is $1.80 and its 750ml. (Not 500ml)
Really good scents too and does just as good a job.
    Now THATs the OZB way

Easier just going there- cheaper prices all the time..

Thanks, don't feel so bad that i missed out now

    • I can’t quite explain but this one (Dettol) never smelled quite right to me. I will try Aldi one! Thanks!

    • In general , I find Aldi's products to be cheaper and just as good..sometimes even better than the well known brands

    • Buy the Coles disinfectant ($1.40 for 2L or ultra at $2.50 for 1.25l), dilute it into a spray bottle at around 10:1 and it will give you exactly the same as the Dettol product (slightly stronger in fact)

Aldi uses lactic acid which many people say is less harmful/dangerous, so there is that

      • What's the difference between the Aldi and the thank you universal cleaner? They both use lactic acid. I assume the Aldi one requires gloves?

        • Christ just buy any spray and wipe lol

        • Probably not much. The Aldi one is likely to use cheaper scents (shorter lasting) and might be lower concentration

If you want the best disinfectant, get some isopropyl alcohol (5l bottle), dilute to 70% and spray it. But you can only use it on limited surfaces eg toilet bowl is fine, wooden bench top not so much. Of course, there is no particular reason for your toilet bowl to be totally disinfected since you shouldn’t be licking it or touching the inside and then sucking on your fingers, but it makes some people happy

    • I haven't seen it at my locals for quite a while though, hope they aren't discontinued. I do quite like the peach and hibiscus scent

  • Still available on backorder if you want to reserve one for the future and can stomach paying the extra 21cents (no s/s).
Gives you a bit of extra time to cancel if you change your mind.

I've got a bottle of this. Terrible synthetic smell.

  • Or buy this which when mixed makes 1,470 Litres for $25.98 https://www.amazon.com.au/Northfork-3X5L-Food-Surface-Saniti… which comes to $0.018 per litre.

  • It's out of stock
