  • Damn, tempted to buy for batteries alone

    • That's what I was thinking. What do they normally go for? Thinking I should start out an ecosystem to build on. Don't think I'll ever use the hammer drill but the Impact could be handy.

      • +1

        Already have this kit
        https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/761380
Drill, saw , grinder (all Advanced range)

              @easternculture: Lol, wtf?

i bought for the batteries alone :)

      • +4

Ozb is a hate - love relationship

        • lol thats bit like victim blaming

I have noone to hate but myself :)

  • +1

    Better price than Ozito!!!

  • +5

Better than buying Ryobi batteries for current kit

  • "PLEASE NOTE: Tools are packed loosely inside a printed packaged Bosch kit box."
are they refurb or returned items?

have the Bosch green drill from bunnings (when they still carry). it been almost 20 yrs. no issue
but it's starting playing up on the chuck. sometime it loose by itself when using.
This seem to be good price

not sure if my old battery can still be use on this new device

    • +1

Try register warranty. If it registers (for an extra year), it will be brand new

  • +1

    Buy now, think later.

  • Damn it. Forgot to use code and paid 125 instead

    • +1

      Cancel and rebuy.
Or return $125 one with free ebay plus returns

  • +3

Bought one, going to return the one I bought from bunnings

    • +2

Ozbargainer doing the right thing here

  • Bought the Ryobi on this deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/805188 but not used. Thinking to return and get this one instead.

    Is this a better deal?

    • +2

      Def bruv

    • Same i am going to return the Ryobi one because I prefer to have an impact driver

    • +1

the bosch drill (30nm) and driver (130nm) are very light duty but probably good for most round the house jobs.

Ryobi is better if you need the performance.

  • +1

Bought for the batteries alone. Price too good

  • Can the charger charge a Bosch 36V battery?

    • No, can charge 14.4V - 18V batteries only.

      • Can you use the 18V batteries for the 36V mowers?

  • +6

for the love of god ..i need to get off this website of bargains …hard to say no to this deal

  • Thank you OzB

  • +3

I don't know why I bought it. Thanks ozbargain

  • +1

There are several aldis clearing out multipiece kits that include these tools plus several others for $150. A good deal if your lucky to get it. Great for anyone who looking to get started with diy

  • +3

    I don't need another drill…. But I couldn't resist this bargain!

    Thx OP

  • These not brushless. Does it matter?

    • +2

Less efficient, contains wearing parts (carbon brushes), however they tend to have a more progressive trigger whereas brushless tools can have a more 'digital' feel. Wearing down the brushes is unlikely to be a problem for a DIY tool.

  • +5

ok good. now to figure out what da heil did I just buy

    • Lol same!

    • -1

You definitely want to use the hammer drill for smaller, fragile, cheaper screws. 😉

      downvote incoming..

  • +1

Bough it and then remembered that I already had 3 drills and an impact driver.

    • +3

but you bought because it’s a different colour

  • Bought thanks OP

  • Bought, thanks OP.

700+ bought, I wonder if they will have enough stock.

  • Bought, nice find. Thanks Op

  • Do you have to be eBay plus member for this deal?

    • Only if you want it $25 cheaper.

Costs $125. Ebay plus extra $25 off to make $100. Then add the available discount off gift cards to save another couple bucks.

      • +4

Non Plus member can use HGTSAVE to make it $115.

  • Similar item listed by the same seller: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/385032393321

Is this just an updated version or a totally different package that warrants the price difference?

    • +1

      The one you linked to

      Kit Includes: Two-Speed Drill/Driver (EasyDrill 18V-40), Impact Driver (AdvancedImpactDrive18), 2 x 2.5Ah batteries & 3.0Ah fast charger

it is the way somedays …good xmas gift for someone

  • Thanks OP, was able to get one in the afternoon.

  • Do the batteries work for the blues?

  • Mine already shipped

  • Bugger, I missed it.

Damn you failing alternator and the reaearch required to find a damn good priced replacement. Yeah I did.

  • i thought bosch was blue, is this there dumb tools? is this the same level as ozito and ryobi?

    • Blue range is for professional trade. Green is DIY.
Better than Ozito, slightly better than Ryobi IMO.

      • Can bosch batteries be used across blue green?

    • +1

Bosch is next step above ozito/ryobi/aldi brand

  • got one yesterday and already shipped
now waiting for circular saw price to drop

  • +1

Bugger, they cancelled my order after a day.

  • So Bosch cancelled my order due to insufficient stock level, and they offered this 'https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/384399945954' with a $50 off voucher, is this a good deal? Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

    • +1

Nah, the 1.5A battery gets you nowhere, i have that batterty

    • +1

Definitely not a good deal in comparison to the one you missed out on….

    • Did they sent you a notification that they cancelled it? Just checking saw others had received theirs but no news on mine yet.

  • What all additional accessories need with these two tools..any suggestions?

  • Recieved today.
They all coming on one big box , but they are 4 retail items , 2 drills and 2 batteries in retail boxes but charger ia unboxed. Not sure why

    • There was a rusted Philips head in mine, but the box was sealed. Are these seconds? Has anyone been able to register for full warranty?

      • Def not seconds

Email bosch see what they say

    • Same here, my guess is the charger box is too big to be fitted in, but everything is new.

  • Are these batteries compatible with this kit?

    https://www.bunnings.com.au/bosch-18v-professional-2-piece-c…

    • Not compatible

  • Tried drilling into a brick yesterday and it was underpowered. Took a long time to finally drill a hole deep enough to insert the plug. But should be good for all other jobs

  • Anyone in the Upper North Shore of Sydney want this, before I return it, unopened? Trying to be sustainable and will stick with the Blue ecosystem (have the set from previously).
