    Still aight tho

    • -5

Only 8GB memory in 2023 in a gaming system but good looking and fake price.

      • RAM is DDR4 3200 CL16 8GB x 4, so 32GB
Graphics is PNY Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12GB

whats with these brick and mortar stores taking their sweet time to do warranties when amazon can do it once you return the item? wouldnt it be beneficial for them to replace the faulty item on the spot instead of having the customer wait 3 months?

    • +6

There is always a risk the manufacturer knocks back repair, if the problem is caused by user error then the retailer doesn't take on that risk if the manufacturer refuses to repair it.
Since margins for them are so small they cant take on that risk otherwise they become uncompetitive and risk closing down.

For amazon it doesn't really matter, they can palm it off as part of their 2nd hand sales.

      • if the problem is caused by user error

It's an already built system so what user error are you talking about?

        • +2

Once the system is in the customers hands they can do very many stupid things, you never know what they will do, maybe they remove the video card and try to upgrade it themselves only to wreck the slot. There are so many things that can go wrong. Or they try to upgrade the cpu and destroy the pins on the motherboard. You just dont know once its outside of your control.

          • @garetz:

Once the system is in the customers hands they can do very many stupid things

I agree on that, a cat can piss on the motherboard, a dog can poo on the CPU, yeah customers do these things too!

All components in this build available with upgrade

The price is just a good looking bait for the title but several things need either upgrade or swap.
It's not worth my time and money to spend $2,400 for a gaming system while I look at a budget price.

      Hi there,

The reason why we set-up the custom options is to leave some space for customer to DIY.

If you look into the options you will find all color swap options don't cost extra money.

And its actually easier for us especially the technician to just sell the PC for what it is :)

We will keep pushing deals during Nov, and other retailers will do the same thing so I wish you will find the deal fits your budget :D

      Sincerely,
      BPC team

I love that you posted this twice for double down votes

  • Seems like computer build prices have gone up generally since say 6 months ago? I think there are better deals than this one on the BPC website.

    • Yeh there were a few 4080 builds posted here for about this price

      • The build of this PC is fairly top tier.
Components in there are all high end. Price is justified in this case

Hey, normally your deals are pretty good, but this one seems a bit of a tough one.
I built a ddr5 system for $50 extra on PC partpicker. (Upgraded mobo and ram, PSU 750 gold, and switched cooler to TR PS120)

Thanks for the advice! Let us work it out!

      • That's nice of you for taking on feedback. Build is much better with just those 3 changes. :) nice work

        • +1

          Cheers mate :)

      • Why is the KF version of the i5 13th generation CPU considered a downgrade?

Can you add ROG STRIX 4070TI-12G as a GPU option?

So close to what I want for my son.

        • No igpu in kf that's the only difference.
13600k is a small bonus that they offered. Actually a nice little extra addition.
Don't upgrade the ram unless you go for the 14600k. The max RAM for 13600k is 5200 or 5600 when paired with two ram sticks.

        • NP!

        • Added :), but currently the ROG card is out of stock in our store, earliest ETA is Dec .

So I added other 4070 ti options as well!

Check it out if you interested!

          Sincerely,

      • +1

keen for a 4080 deal too

        • +2

Will do one on Nov 7 :) but with AMD

    • +2

      4080 Upgrade Option Added :)

  • Seems solid but I'm not sure if I should go with Intel if I only play games on a PC

Last week Lenovo's click frenzy sale there was a Legion Pro 5i with a RTX 4070 not Ti but with i9 processor and same ram, same SSD space etc for $200 more and that's a gaming laptop.. how is this a Deal at $2400 ?

    • +5

RTX 4070 mobile (laptop) is a fair bit weaker than 4070 desktop.
And the "Ti" is usually a lot more than the non Ti

        ah ok i understand now

  • I personally wouldn't order from these guys, a good friend of mine has had nothing but trouble with his build.

Its been back to the shop for a month already, returned with zero resolution and constant bsod and other issues. Took it in again and the staff at the front counter was quite rude and it felt like it was a real hassle for him to walk around the counter to accept the pc. No apologies, no ETA, just poor attitude.

There's plenty of other builders that offer better support. These people have a fancy showroom with fancy computers but what's the point of all that if they don't bother to find and fix issues with their own builds!?

I understand that problems can happen, perhaps others may have had better support experiences but for me? No matter how good of a bargain it's not worth the hassle of trying to work through issues with these people if they arise.

    • Hi APD2022,

Sorry to hear about ur friend's experience.

From your description sounds like your friend's issue still not fixed.

Would you mind share me the order details and I will look into it now.

      Sincerely,
      BPC Team

      • I'll send it to you.

However he picked it up from your store again yesterday and today has had another 2 random restarts watching YouTube, so I assume whatever "fix" was done this time, again, has not fixed his issues.

Ridiculously poor effort, his PC has never worked properly and many attempts at getting it fixed have been fruitless. You sold him a lemon and fail to rectify.

Further to that it's a 40 minute drive each time it has to be taken into the shop, and picked up again, so that's a big waste of time, tolls and petrol on something that should have been tested before it was sold.

          Hi APD2022,

I just finished the coversation with our technician team, and they mentioned me the problem is the riser cable.

The PC your friend ordered is not one of our custom PCs, the order shows your friend selected all the parts himself and our technician help built it on June 2022, which includes a Gigabyte 3060 and Fractal Design Riser Cable.

Our technician found out that if we just plug-in the Gigabyte 3060 directly to the motherboard without the Riser Cable, the PC working properly and pass through all the test like Aida64. Burnintest .OCCT during the past two days.

So we would like to know what's the current status of the build, our RA manager mentioned to your friend yesterday when he pick-up the PC that not plug the GPU to the riser cable again, as the riser cable potentially faulty and we are not able to do warranty since the manufacturer warranty only cover 1 year.

If the GPU is on the motherboard and the PC is still crashing for no reason, I will arrange a on site service with your friend immediatelty to find out the reason and see if its the hardware or software issue.

The team will ask for more details of the restart in the PM.

          Sincerely,
          BPC Team

  • I had a great experience with BPC when I ordered my 6800 build a while back. Has worked perfectly with no issues. Alas that was a much better deal maybe one of the best bang for buck deals we've seen on here.

    • Also I received it within a week of ordering if that helps anyone and I had upgraded RAM and CPU.

  • The Kraken Nuke 110 is interesting for compact PC fans who don't want to build their own or pay through the nose. Not sure what the airflow is like though.

E.g. For $998 can downgrade to a 12400F CPU and upgrade to an RX6700 (non-XT) for a very strong 1080p gaming machine (or reasonable 1440p if you're happy with lower settings on the latest/more demanding titles).

  • Nice spec and price, the default ram on this page does not match the spec list on bpc website. So default RAM changed into DDR5 5200Mhz from corsair?

    • Yeah it's the ddr5, ddr4 isn't compatible with MoBo.
      So it will be corsair

      • Thanks, good to hear that, I just made my payment and left a message about sending the GPU separately. Not sure whether they are checking it or not.

        • Yes its possible :) I saw your notes

        • However we would like to mention that if you are not skilled technician, we still reccomend not to install the GPU yourself.

          • @BPC Technology: Thank you, and you are right. However I have built a custom PC before on my own, and installing a graphics card is not that hard for me.

  • Every time I click the link AVG says BPC page is blocked because it's infected with cardstealer a card skimming thing.

    • What! Thanks for the update we will talk to their team to fix this issue!

  • Do you build without GPU?
I am not a gainer but need powerful machine.

    • Sure we can :)

      • Thank you. Is there a way I can choose parts on my own?

        • Yeah sure we can do full custom pc not a problem at all :D

  • Did anyone here actually get this unit yet? I ordered it weeks ago but it's still just "processing". I tried to contact their support but no response. All the parts were in stock when I purchased it, if everyone else is experiencing this too maybe they've just got a huge backlog of builds? I hope I don't miss the christmas courier cut-off date.

    • Took 3 weeks but I did get it in the end. Very well packaged. Cable management a bit sloppy, but good enough. Needed to fix up the BIOS a bit, but no biggie. Overall, pretty good.
