You can’t select 32GB upgrade as it selects the RTX 4070 as well… At least that’s what it was doing for me.

  • What's the difference between this one and the Legion 5 Pro?

Not sure which one to buy from my 12 yo son.

If you are going to get this, make sure to upgrade the screen for an extra $20.
    Benefits of screen upgrade:
    + 240hz
    + HDR400
    + 500 nits

For the majority of people it won’t make a massive difference, but for $20, it is worth it.

    • For $20. Be a fool not to.

    • thank you very helpful

  • Can you use the 10% sign up along with the cash rewards

    • That's a nope..

  • Is RAM upgradeable? sorry for all the questions!

    • +1

Yes, however the 32gb option isn't available with the 4060 model. You can still buy and upgrade the DDR5 ram later, although that shouldn't be necessary for most games.

Good deal but still disappointing from Lenovo for a 'black friday' sale, only bit cheaper than previous Slim 5 deals while 4070 upgrade is not discounted this time round while screen & ram upgrade isnt discounted more nor baked in just as deals of before.

Copium on xmas or boxing day for a better deal.

  • is lenovo on-site warranty worth it? I am considering 2 yr for ~$55 or 3 yr for $99. thanks in advance!

    • given that my previous lenovo legion (for my son) broke down after 2 years, I bought it with the 3 yrs warranty + battery replacement warranty this time.

  • This or the similar priced 14 version?

Personal preference really if you want a bigger screen or smaller screen with OLED. Seems you can only get 32gb ram upgrade on 14 inch (16 inch forces 4070 option). Also have to pay extra for 1tb on 14 inch. Depends what you want more.
