  • Great, thanks for reminding me..

Now I grabbed that double drill deal the other day from Bosch eBay, now I'll have to research and wait for a Bosch equivalent inflator for mainly automotive use to replace the slow-AF Xiaomi 1s.

I've got this and I use it around once a month.
Nothing really fantastic about it, but it does the simple jobs it was designed for well! Would recommend.

As with most compressors: Very noisy!

Agreed. I don't have this exact one, but I do have a very similar model from Autobarn from when they were clearing them out at $30. It really came in handy yesterday when I had a flat and had to put an extra 40psi into it. Doing that with a handpump would have taken agesssss

      • +1

I can tell.you that it does indeed take ages.

This isn't the mains powered option one, its battery only. The "hybrid" one with mains power as well seems to have been discontinued.

      • +2

Thanks for catching that. Removed comment as not to confuse people.

        • +1

I have the hybrid and to be honest it works well on battery so haven't ever really had the need to use on mains so I can understand why they dropped the feature. Just wish they dropped the price more to go with it

          • @bamzero: Yeah, I have the hybrid, think it was $40 or $50 and you just made me realize that I've never used it on mains.

    isnt this rrp?

    • Yes

  • This is a really useful skin, but isn't this the normal price?

This is rrp not a bargain.

    • Agreed. Got a bit excited about this because I've been waiting on a special, but this is usual price. :-(

      • yeah every so often bunnings will do a selected half price skin sale

hasnt happened in a while as they lose their shirt doing this

Would this or similar be suitable to blow dust out of a PC?

    • +1

Much better to get a handheld one from ebay or temu. This will be way too loud for just daily keyboard cleaning

    • If that's all you wanted to do with it the rechargeable inflator from Kmart would be a cheaper option

Bought for $49.50 in May 2022

  • I think this post was meant for OzProductAwareness.com.au

  • these are great, love mine… paid full price for it though sadly :( which i thought was $99.98… but other people seem to be commenting otherwise

    • The older hybrid version was $99.98 I’m pretty sure. I picked that up for $49 when they price matched Aldi. I think this new version runs on battery only.

      • ah yep, you're right… i've got the hybrid one, lol, i've never used it plugged in though

  • +1

I'm confused, how is this a bargain?

    • +1

It was about 100. But other poster said that was another version, I mixed up at the beginning.

  • Standard RRP. Also waiting for a deal

  • RRP nothing special.

  • Which of the three is best for tyres?

    • +1

The 2 that mentions "high pressure" and "tyres" in their description.

  • This one not good bought once cant even pump my bike…return it and got the other handled one instead..or maybe just a fault product
