I think this is the historical cheapest for this Sony Mirrorless Camera. The deal is similar to the Sony A7 III deal I posted where you can price match the digidirect eBay store which currently has 20% Coupon using DIGINOV23

Once you price match on the Sony Website using the form on this page, it will get added to your cart and you can stack with the MySony 10% off Discount for new customers.

Unfortunately there is no cashback by Sony like the Sony A7 III, but still cheapest it has been. I think based on value for money the current Sony A7 III price is hard to beat, but posting this just in case someone was interested in the A7 IV.

Here are the step by step instructions to get this price matched and get the MySony 10% off discount. These instructions have worked for me numerous times to get a price match on an eBay store with a coupon code.

  1. Create a new MySony Account on this page and make sure to tick the “ I consent to receiving promotional and other marketing messages from Sony” otherwise you wont receive the 10% off welcome voucher code.
  2. Submit a price match request on this page by pressing the request price match button underneath the add to cart button. Make sure to use the same email that you used to create the MySony account for the price match because they add this to your cart with the adjusted price. Also don’t remove this from your cart once it has been price matched, otherwise if you remove it and try to add it back the price will reset.
  3. Once you submit the price request, use the live chat function (during business hours) to ask someone to price match the product. Just send them the eBay store link and mention that it is cheaper by $737.60 with the coupon code. They will ask you to submit a price match request form which you have already done. Just tell them that you have already submitted and they will search for your request and approve.
  4. You will receive a Welcome to Sony email with a one time 10% off coupon, enter this at the checkout to reduce the price to $2655.36
  5. Some people had issues checking out with a credit card initially, so it is recommended to use PayPal. I’ve used a debit card and PayPal and both work fine.

    Has anyone got a confirmed rebate using this method? That the 10% off discount for new customers works with the cash rebate?

    Fingers crossed that they add the 16-35 PZ to their ebay store before the coupon ends.

      There is no rebate for this camera. But I got my Sony Cashback approved yesterday using this method of price match and stacking with MySony 10% Discount for the 35mm F1.4 GM lens.

    I've used the 10% new customer coupon several times (obtained using new accounts, but used with existing account) - a tip is that the price matched can be done with existing accounts.

    The 10% code, once obtained, can be applied to orders while logged in (and checking out) with your existing account, therefore eliminating the mild annoyance your orders details and history are across several accounts.

    I got this body around $2747 in June during the upsized cashback so this is a pretty good price

        no, cashback will not stack with the 10% code. I didn't use a 10% code for this body as the cashback then was 14% - higher than the discount code.

        Cashback via Sony Redemption will work, but Cashrewards and Shopback will not work with 10% discount

    The Sony Store put me off buying any sony products after 7 attempts to fulfill an order using different payment methods.. worst customer service.

    Great for anyone who doesn’t experience any issues but there system that processes orders is flawed

    I bought the 16-35 F4 PZ on 01/Nov when the price was $1399 in the sony website.
    10% discount on new account brought it down to $1260, cashrewards tracked $23 and just got Sony $100 cashback approved. Finally works out to around $1138..

    Not a bad price considering it is back to $1599 in the Sony website now :-) !

      The 10% Sony welcome/new user code invalidates your cashback so it can't be combined. Both Cashrewards and Shopback have declined cashback for transactions using the code (see latest comments in https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/792812)
