ABOUT DOMINATION TOURNAMENT
"Our beautiful city is full of awesome people doing awesomely competitive underground activities. Roller Derby, Dodge Ball, Robot Wars? (not sure about that last one).

Now comes the fight club of Laser Tag events, Domination Tournament, were not talking your space cadet pew pew lasers here people - put away the astro boy vests before you get hurt. Were talking grown up Laser Tag where if you don't have strategy, pin point aim and heaps of stamina you will be Dominated.

Gather 5 to 7 bad asses, give yourselves a unique team name and dress to intimidate (those who put effort into uniform get $50 off a team ticket) and we will see you at the end of the month."

  • Where's Barney Stinson when you need him….

    • A good team name right there 'The Disciples of Barney'

  • Not really a bargain. The terms of the cash back ae determined by them solely on the spot. If they deem your effort as insufficient you might not gt the cash back. Also the time and cost of equipping your team with uniform will most likely reach $50.

Not necessarily. Uniform = The distinctive clothing worn by members of the same organization or body or by children attending certain schools (dictionary). Therefore, you could probably all wear 'red tshirts and black shorts' and that would fall under the definition. Of course, that's open to debate and interpretation but, that would be very bad publicity and stupid of the laser tag company to deny a team that rebate if they DID turn up like this.

Basically what i meant was, uniform does not equal 'costume'.

Thats right Kirasuran, were not going to be asses about it. The idea is for those 'getting into the spirit of things' to get a reward. Its pretty open to interpretation I guess but just dont want people turning up on the day saying "were all wearing Jeans, thats our uniform - giz $50 naw plx".

Ha ha, some of those pics are of my friends, when they went there a few weeks ago. They said they had a great time. I saw some video (a couple of them wore ski goggles with cameras while they played), and it did look pretty good.

Apparently it still works with lasers, but you only have the one sensor, on your head. Also, because the field is fairly open and well-lit, rather than a dark maze with smoke machines and disco lights, playing tactically as a team pays off much better.

    • We steer clear of darkened mazes and neon lights ;) Also your right, headshots only - sensors front and back.
