On sale is this exciting new release tablet from Blackview with some pretty impressive specs. This includes a large 12" 2.4K display, 12GB of RAM, 256GB storage, Harmon Kardon quad speakers and Widevine L1. According to the tablet OEMs, Widevine L1 on these 12" tabs support Netflix HD, however until that's actually tested I'd be skeptical. Prime and Disney+ HD should be no issue.

Features included Android 13, 12" 2.4K IPS display, 12GB RAM 256GB UFS 2.1 storage (microSD support), MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core CPU, 8800mAh battery with 33W fast charge, USB-C, 16MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, 4G LTE dual Sim (no B28), Wifi ac, GPS, Bluetooth and weighs 632g.

Blackview call their skin of Android DokeOS and the latest version introduces PC mode (similar to Samsung Dex, Motorola Ready for) to offer a mode desktop like experience with a keyboard/mouse. It also has a few custom themes built in and other management apps. Otherwise it behaves like any other Android 13 device.

  • Are these like no name android boxes where they load up the spyware?

    • This is why I was hoping for a Lonovo/Xiaoxin.

      they load up the spyware?

      You can ask Google.

    • No. These aren't no name tablets.

      • Hi @Clear,
How does this compared to Xiaoxin Pad pro that has come on sale last month? From memory, xiaoxin Pad pro has 8 GB ram, 128 GB rom.
        Thanks.

        Kind regards,
        Presley

          Pad Pro? Pro significantly better.

  • How does this compare to xiaoxin pad pro?

    • Xiaoxin pad pro 2022 price not as good as around one month ago.

  • Look like an excellent deal. Would jump on it if I have not already bought the Doogee T30 Pro earlier this year. Very similar specs.

Please note that some of the specs on the AliExpress listing show 18W charging instead of 33W.

Fantastic specification for the price but I've bad experience with these cheap brands because they only look good on the paper but in the real life they fail and there is no support.
Also be ware that the network frequencies are suitable for China.

    • Only B28 is missing. Unfortunately Blackview is one of the few Chinese companies to exclude it. Most include it because it's used by Taiwan .

  • i boguht a blackview before. despite the spec sheet, it lags. Xiaoxin pad much better and smoother even with lower specs on paper.

  • Anyone got a keyboard/case to go with it?

    • You can get it under colour options on the listing. Can potentially use 11SALE40 instead.

  • I got the Blackview 11 and despite its 'fast charging' claims, it only works with USB A - C, not USB C - C. Takes about 3 minutes for 1% no matter what charging head I use so that's annoying

    • I swear I never saw such a claim on AliExpress when I bought that at release. It only has standard charging. With a MediaTek CPU manufacturers can easily implement PumpExpress charging.

      • True, guess I assumed everything these days are on fast charging. must have been a sign when i googled and it was so hard to find whether it was fast charging or not, not sure why this site said it was https://www.devicespecifications.com/en/model/41e55817

Why wont it charge from USB C to C though, is it because the power is too high?

        • Those spec sites always get something wrong. The C to C charging is definitely a hardware issue they fixed in later tablets.

  • How to get US$190.52?
It shows US$220.52 after applying the 2 coupons.

    • 11SALE30 didn't apply then. Looks to have expired now.
