Was looking for a new video doorbell and found this bundle for cheaper than just a single doorbell unit ($299 @ Amazon AU). Still more expensive than other brands but could be worth it if you're already running TP-Link Tapo ecosystem in your house. The extra battery also means no headaches or downtime while you're charging one of the batteries.

Seems to be quite a long waiting time, delivery suggests late November - mid December even with Prime. Unsure when the promotion ends.

I have this and mostly does its job, however I have been having an issue that after a few days I cant access the live feed and I have to manually powercycle the chime in order to get a live feed

Chime or smart hub because I think they are two separate items. I got a separate chime and a H200. So your H200 requires rebooting - can you switch your wifi channel and see if that makes a difference?

The H200. I will try different channel, but that happens over Ethernet too

I want this so much but then I won’t have any money for Black Friday sales. Before Amazon put their price back up to $299 I had be wrestling for the past four weeks as it’s been $239.

I know you get the Smart Hub H200 with the camera but I bought one separately for connecting P110 Power Plus that gave energy monitoring but I also bought some 256GB Pro Performance MicroSD cards. All the reviews I’ve read so far in the past two months have been pretty good except how long the app takes to connect to the camera (no mention, but live video is 15fps) which isn’t too bad but the stand out is the 5MP camera for clarity during day and night. Reviews say apparently is really good quality. No cloud subscription if you don’t want it. But it is available if you have security cams, however you can record those to the MicroSD card, just depends on how many cameras you have.

    Buyers beware.

I’ve recently joined the Tapo ecosystem, 2x C100 and 2x C210, loving it so far, easy to use and fast connection. Much better and stable than previous Xiaomi ones.

Can anyone suggest any video doorbell cameras that can use solar? Purpose is to have the longest battery life possible

  • +1

If you have a doorbell, do you get more unwanted door knockers such as REAs trying to convince you to sell the home you're renting?

Why use one of these when you can buy an outdoor cam for around $50. Most cams have voice?

Office Works price matched this during click frenzy which brought it down to just over $200
