Was about to buy this for $397 on Thursday. Thanks to learning from ozbargin, I waited for Black Friday sales. Cheaper than Samsung online and all time low AFAIK.

good god what a piece of shit

VA and FHD and only 60hz

    lol

    • Are you for real? Do you even know what it does?

i dont care if you ride it to visit your grandmother in hospital

is it not VA FHD and 60hz?

      • What does it do compared to attaching a cheap firestick/chromecast to any cheaper monitor/tv besides spam you with ads?

  • Available for $200 direct via samsung.. 32"model for $240 also available via samsung.

    • how'd you get that price? am interested to know…

10% off via first samsung app purchase combined with 10% loyalty voucher for monitors obtained through loyalty email or live chat.

  • Why choose this one? As a monitor resolution is too low (expect 4K at this size). As a TV it is too small and too expensive (32" at JB HIfi for ~$270, next week 40" at ALDI around the same price) - so again what is the attraction value of this particular model?

    • Its a smart monitor. Can be connected to your phone and play media. Also can use it for work presentations as it can be operated with a remote. Has apps like netflix that can be added just like any smart TV.

      • I can connect my phone to any monitor using USB-C to HDMI cable or hub (most USB-C hubs have HDMI out port on them). I can buy Google Chromecast HD (as this monitor is not 4K) for $35 and have full support for streaming apps as well as cast anything. Remote? Comes with Chromecast.

Again why anyone would buy this halfway monitor halfway TV that is subpar in both areas?

        • You just said it yourself, to do those kinds of stuff you need to buy something more than just the monitor. This is a niche product for people who just want to spend once to do those things all together.

        • I bought this to replace a 24" AKAI in my bedroom (which was actually HD surprisingly).
I didn't want to jump to 32" because i like my bedroom for sleeping, not watching TV.
This was perfect for my needs and even has exactly the same remote as my Samsung Frame in the living room.

Not every product needs to deliver the world.
