This one contains calcium phosphates etc not good for us fyi

    • +1

    • And it's low on protein, I prefer their Soy Protein+ (dark blue carton) just for my health. It also has added vitamins and minerals.

    • Why?

    • Calcium phosphate is added for its health benefits.

Dont buy this, get the $1.89 barista oat milk from Aldi. Trust me.

Has it changed recipe recently? I tried it a few months ago and hated it.
But I’ve seen a few mentions of it recently

      • They have the normal yellow one but this one is black with yellow and says Barista on it.

    • +1

1.89 is for the normal unsweetened oat milk, not barista.

Must be my aldi or a pricing error

    • Why do you prefer the aldi equivalent? just curious, haven't tried the aldi one before

      • +1

To put it simply, it doesnt taste like ass when you make coffee with it.

    Porridge water

    • +9

can be added to your bean or leaf water

    • I've tried making an equivalent with just oats and water and it doesn't work at all. It's the fatty thickeners which make it milky and work for the same purpose,

    Price matching Coles

Cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool, cool

  • Does this taste nice? Is unsweetened too

    • +1

Yep it’s got solid taste and at this it’s a steal .

    • Been drinking oat milk for a couple years, tried other brands if this was sold out and nothing comes close to taste. Apart from maybe Oatly, but that can be close to $5 per carton.

  • +1

Amazon tried charging me $3 for this yesterday, I'm glad I skipped my order.

    • Yes me too. luckily they've not shipped it yet, so was able to cancel.

Tastes horrible, like it has fish oil in it or something. By the milklab version of oat milk instead.

    • +2

No it does not, tastes perfectly fine to me.

    • Suitable for vegetarians and vegans it says on the milk so probably not fish oil …

    • +2

Milk Lab tastes terrible, Vitasoy is the only one I've tried from from stores that isn't too sweet and goes well with coffee.

The only other good is one is alternative dairy co, which a lot of cafes use but it's too expensive.

    • Seed oil based
