first time posting a deal. i need some advices on which one to get for my mother. she just need something basic for web browsing. she occasionally uses microsoft office on it for work.

  Out of those two, definitely the Acer Aspire 3.

  R3-3250U is very old and only 2C/4T. i3-N305 is very new and 8C/8T. Go for the Acer.

  Even for light use I would recommend the Acer, not sure if Asus one is holding up nowadays with only 2C.

  For comparison, the i3-N305 is equivalent to i5-8500T (6C/6T) or i7-8565U (4C/8T) that was on the same year as the R3-3250U. The R3-3250U was much lower tier than either the i5 & i7 of its time.
