It appears to apply the 30% discount off the next subscription period. This was sent to me via their support team so presumably it is a generic coupon code.
The subscription page says the coupon is 'BLKFRI23-S1T-FD' so slightly different to what is in the OP.

This still worked on 25-Dec-2023. It says my next payment will be 30% off.
I pay yearly, so that will happen next year when my current billing ends.
Why this over other ones?
Been using PocketSmith for ~5yrs. When I first used them they were the best in the number of financial institutions feeds supported. Now with Open Banking becoming more common that benefit is less somewhat, but since I already have a history of transactions categorized and custom reports built into my own workflow, it is hard for me to move.

Automatic feed support.
Really would like to see a new player in the market since Open Banking is a thing now.
