  Looks like it needs to be powered by USB to work so you would need a car-usb power converter ( like this random Google search result http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/e24a/) or plug it into a PC both of which kinda limit its portability.

    I think it's only to charge. Hopefully it has a built in battery. Oh we'll for $9 not expecting too much.

    Just use a USB AC wall adapter (if using outside of car/indoors).

  Just saw something similar at Aldi for around $15 reduced from $25. In case ppl need it sooner.

    the aldi one can act as both a transmitter or receiver - you select it with a switch. It was 19 down from 29 when I saw it.
