  • Umm, I recently found they have Organic Stevia, i would assume it’s better than normal sweetener since organic? Bought one the other day to try..

This is monkfruit. So its natural too. Stevia is a plant. Personally I prefer Erythritol which is found in Monkfruit, more close in taste and sweetness to real sugar.

Just to clear up any confusion; Erythritol, a man-made sugar alcohol, is not naturally found in monkfruit, it is added, typically in large amounts. Also worth noting is that Erythritol has been linked to several cardiovascular issues (heart attack, blood clots, stroke).

I use this in ninja creami ice cream with protein custard powder mixes. Makes healthy low kj ice cream.

    • seems like the monkfruit is key in your routine.

    • +1

What protein custard are you using?

      • +1

Muscle nation, comes in around a dozen flavours. Make it up with milk, then add around a spoon of monkfruit sweetener and some vanilla extract to taste.
Purchase the 2.4 kg birthday cake flavour from Costco for $90. The other flavours I just purchased from muscle nation at their 50% off black friday sale last week for $40/kg.
Make a pint of protein ice cream for under $2. It's a pleasant way to add some protein to your diet.

        • I have tried it with the custards, but prefer the ice cream I get from the shake powders much more. I have two on the go at the moment. A banana which ends up tasting like a banana paddle pop, and choc ice cream which tastes exactly like the chocolate part of a Neapolitan ice cream.

          • @Niximus: I do have two shake powders too for it but preferring the muscle nation now.

  • Thanks! cancelled my S&S for the 500g at $15.75 and got this one instead.

Isnt this only 1% monkfruit and the 99% ethyriol? That's why it has a laxitative effect if consumed too much?

  • I'm not seeing a S&S option anymore. I think this one has run its course .
30% off coupon is still there though

This product is made with only 1% monkfruit. The rest is Erythritol, that's all you're going to taste. Plus, it's made in China.

Whole Earth brand is exactly as good, is cheaper, and is made in the Czech republic: https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/251041/who…
