I think the "hacking" aspect of a console equates to < 1% of why people buy a console
MS have an official developer mode that can be enabled on any home console for a small fee (even cheaper via Turkey). There's little motivation for "Jailbreaking" an Xbox when MS let you run homebrew on your console offically.

Your logic is flawed. I just googled PlayStation hack and it seems they've had security issues in the past before too. Also, most people don't know the term jailbroken, i had to Google it myself.

You miss understood their point.
They’re saying the PS4 and PS5 can be hacked to run homebrew, whereas the Xbox hasn’t really been hackable since the 360.
They are saying Sony consoles having poor security is a good thing because it allows for jailbreaks.
You miss my point - the fact that PS is slower to address security is the appeal.

@Danstar: Homebrewing so you can play all the games you want and customise your console to your preference. Lessor security focus from console makers means easier way to homebrew. Security doesn't matter if you don't connect the console online. This is for a niche group, just to provide a contrarian point of view.
