First time ever that Safe lace are doing a Black Friday deal.

How it works

4 SIMPLE STEPS TO SHOELACE BLISS!

1) Tighten laces on your shoe as normal then thread laces through the appropriate hole. The outside holes are usually for adult shoes and wider laced shoes and the inside holes are perfect for baby shoes and narrow laced shoes such as football boots and smaller childrens shoes. There’s no right or wrong, it's whichever sits better on your shoe!
2) Hold your shoelaces in one hand and push the Safe Lace down towards the shoe with the other hand
3) Tie your bow as normal with absolutely no double knot needed
4) Lift the lock tab up and over the bow and secure, making sure that both sides of the lock tab are secure. Once the edges are locked under, the laces are secured and will stay that way!

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2023

    Purpose?

    • +1

To make money. How did we all survive before this $0.10 piece of plastic was invented.

    • +1

To prevent the shoelaces from accidentally untie and cause trip and fall.

      • +1

That's what double knots are for.

        • +1

But these only cost $11.16, an extra minute of your time, and a huge hit to the aesthetic appeal of your shoes, for the same degree of security you already have. It's a bargain.

        • The kids (at least mine) struggle doing the double knot. And for some model, the shoelaces aren't long enough for this knot.

        • Yes double knots are some what effective, but a double knot on my kids shoes turn into triple and then a quadruple knot.
These are an effective way to keep them tied up all day. Whether at school or playing sport.
We've all seen those kids stop mid game to tie up shoe laces

          • @Lovesasaving: Lol for your kids future mental stability maybe just teach them how to tie a double knot like a normal person rather than wearing these training wheels around other kids making them look different & risk getting picked on.

Spending money to solve a problem that doesn't exist isn't really what OzB is for. It's meant to be for sharing bargains, neg.
