  Wonder how much worse these are than the cheap Hisense TVs. Anyone got any experience.

    OEM/ generic China TV. Uses the same panel that you will find in name brands, but internal stuff like upscaling non existent/ poor.
    If in a bright room, back light on high..might not last long. In a dull room, back light low (so not getting as hot), cheap electronics will probably last for many years. My China oem 4k tv (bought in 2012 still going strong in back room, backlight 20%).

    My 65" Hisense died in July and I ended up buying the 65" U94 from Kogan in October for $599 delivered (not First, it was a free delivery for all spesh).

    Don't have a high bar for Tv - but it's fine. Sound IS crap, but I had a soundbar anyway, haven't used (and will never) the inbuilt smart/OS as we use firesticks and others around the house
